I normally won’t eat at a cajun or creole restaurant outside of Southern Louisiana. Mainly because no one can get it quite right. So when I was invited to Short’s and was told that it was a cajun restaurant, I was very skeptical. Well, I was very surprised to find that the cajun seafood linguini was so good. Reminded me of a place back home. The restaurant was very nice, had a good atmosphere and a great outdoor seating area. The service was very good as well. I will most definitely be going back here to try some of their other creole dishes. (If only they served sweet tea…)

Love the casual atmosphere! Burger was one of the best in the area and cooked to perfection. Cons would be that the small metal chairs are very uncomfy and I was bummed to see that there is no Cajun items section offered from the menu when I went…but the food and friendliness of our server was so good that it was still one of my fave new spots!

The menu has a dozen or more creative burger options, all of which can be substituted with chicken or a veggie option. Fish and chips were the real deal. Good, friendly service. Outdoor seating with live music.

Burger was fabulous! I had the Chester. Fries were just right. Too full for dessert but will be back. James was an awesome server. Good social distancing. Bring a mask but you can take it off once you are seated. Nice and clean. Great atmosphere.

After a very long day this was just what I needed. A burger & fries, 1 beer and lots of ice water. The burger was cooked perfectly and the IPA beer hit the spot. One of my favorite places in Marion!
