What great burgers and my new favorite fries! I wish the patio seating had shade, (no indoor seating, drive thru only) but we enjoyed our lunch in our air conditioned car so it was ok. Don’t let the run down area (old Kmart area) scare you off, the inexpensive and convenient yum is worth it!

We just tried Short Stop for the 1st time and were pleasantly surprised. I got a bacon cheese burger combo and a chilli cheese dog and my wife had a hot dog. All of it came to about twenty dollars ($20 is $20) and for that price we were very happy with the food we got. Everything was very fresh, fries cooked well, and just what we were looking for in a burger spot. Definitely better than Carl’s or Whataburger, I will even go so far to say I would take Short Stop over In&Out. We’ll be back for sure.

I usually liked their business until I just ordered #1 combo and 2 Bratwursts. I am deaf customer. Cashier tried to say something what I wanted. She didn’t write down to communicate for me . I got plain brats in sub rolls. None added on it. I tried to eat. But it made me unwanted to eat and I trashed them. I ate hamburger and fries. Sweet tea drink was kind warm with ice cubes. I don’t think I come back ever again. They need to communicate better with deaf customers. What a waste 20.62 dollars. Not same as before. I used love go short stop. Their taste were so great. But today bad time and hamburger was ok.

As a long term customer I have to say that this is the first time I have been completely disappointed with short stop. I ordered a bag o’ burgers this evening (two with bacon) and the the food was awful! The fries were extremely greasy and the burgers were smashed and sloppily put together. I’m sorry but the crew that was in there tonight didn’t make their food with love like we are used to.

When they get it right it’s great, but days like today when you order a burger with no mustard or onions and it comes with nothing but mustard and onions … really disappointing. Sadly this has been happening more often then not lately, hope this gets addressed soon.

I love small, drive through burger places, so I was excited to try this one. I was hoping for old fashioned burgers, but got this tiny, gross burger that almost tasted like a veggie burger Also, the fries were like cold McDonald’s fries disappointed.

I got the #1 Combo meal: Burger, fries, and 16oz drink. SKIP THE DRINK, order just burger & fries, and drive to the 7/11 across the parking lot and buy a soda there! They filled the 16oz cup full of ice then add soda! You are lucky to get 4oz instead of 16oz of soda!
