The mushroom swiss is what I had been looking for. Nice sauce with the mushrooms, not just some mushrooms and cheese on a burger. It’s definitely my go-to place for when I’m craving one. ATM on site, but credit cards aren’t taken here. Next time, I’ll try the ghost pepper burger!

The Friday fish fry is amazing. A huge piece of walleye (or couple other choices), with your choice of potato side. The walleye was some of the best fish fry I’ve had anywhere. Dan the bartender is also great – friendly, funny, and provides great service. If you just want a drink and snacks, they provide free peanuts by the pool table. The Shop is a gem in the middle of the Northwoods. Definitely recommended!

Awesome prime rib and jumbo shrimp meal Saturday night, the service is so fast and friendly, they heard my glass getting empty and were there to serve up, lol 4 pm to 5:30 pm. Will definitely go back there. Amazing deep fried mushrooms for appetizer.
