Don’t waste your money. We loved this place a few years ago and have recently moved back to town. We went in last night for dinner, for the first time in a couple years, and was highly disappointed. Apparently they are under new ownership. The appetizer, gator bites and fries, were way over cooked. My husbands steak was cooked on only one side and his baked potato was hard as a rock. The sweet girl that checked in on us asked about the food and we told her. She had them remake the baked potato, saying it’s the second time it’s happened to her that night, but it came out the exact same way. We were really disappointed. Was also not a fan that there is no true service to your table, but that the prices are still reflective of that. I’m fine with the self-serve style as long as the atmosphere and price is reflective of that.

Fantastic food relaxed atmosphere and excellent service LAST YEAR … not consistent at all? Do not expect service from anyone when they are ready to leave two hours before closing?! So sorry you disappointed me!

They took a nice sit down bar and grill and basically made it the quality of a fast food restaurant. You have to grab menus, sit yourself(*if there’s a seat*), look them over and go back up to the stand to order(potentially losing your seat), then get your own drinks, all at the same SIT DOWN RESTAURANT price point. Prices should not reflect a sit down restaurant if we’re doing half the work ourselves. Was extremely disappointed with those new changes under the new owner. Just ridiculous.

The food was absolutely amazing!! The gentleman that greeted us gave us a sample of the Cajun sauce and toured the menu for us. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very professional and friendly. I was taken back a bit by going up to a booth to order and getting your own drinks and silverware, etc. However it doesn’t take away from the great food, employees, and establishment.

Atmosphere was good, but it was weird to sit down with a menu then have to get up to get my own drinks and to figure out how to order. Hostess took the time to come explain how it works. They could of got my drink order instead. I don’t understand why you would have some one seat themselves then hunt the order station in the back. Most of the food was good, my wings were dry and overcooked. Then the name is weird also Shooter’s is a bar name but now they add Scratch Kitchen. Really it’s what are you trying to be? I hope they make some changes soon

I wasn’t particularly fond of the appetizers I tried, but the drink (Crown Royal Vanilla) and the bartender’s service was great. I ordered the crab cakes and they were much too mushy. I then tried to order chips and queso but the chips weren’t as crunchy as normal tortilla chips (they looked and felt baked from the oven) and the queso was not thick at all. I’m not sure if I would try this place again if I’m in the area, but I’m assuming other menu items are pretty reasonable. I appreciate them deducting one of the items from my check because of my issue with the crab cakes.

Had lunch here today with my friend Rose , we both had burgers w/ waffle fries . She had a shooters burger , mine was mushroom and Swiss . They were amazing ! Skimpy on the waffle fries but still great ! Our server was Madi, she was awesome outgoing attentive, kept my tea glass filled. Checked on us almost everytime she went by , gave us dessert info when asked but gosh by time we ate the burgers n fries we were stuffed! Met the manager Lou , he was great as well. Highly recommend you go see them if hungry! To the cook fabulous job on our burgers! Thank you all for making a lunch putting phenomenal!
