Only six patrons total. We arrived at 11:20 thinking food would be fresh, it wasn’t. There wasn’t much to choose from. Food may have been put out at ten but seemed as though it had sat under the warmer lights for hours. Only picked at one piece of chicken. Coffee was cold when it was served, asked for a fresh cup & it was never topped off afterwards.

The lunch buffet had a good variety of food from salad to fried chicken. The food was seasoned well and fresh. The staff was friendly and attentive never letting our drinks run dry. The icing on the cake as they say was the World Famous Shoney’s Hot Fudge Cake.

So glad Shoney’s reopened! Salad Bar was clean, tasty and well stocked. Husband enjoyed fried fish dinner with mixed vegetables and fries. My All-American burger and fries were served hot and fresh!

Muse Shoals Shoneys used to be one of my favorite breakfast spots but had really gone down before they closed..I thought surely it had been redone since they had opened back up and decided to visit this morning. It is HORRIBLE! let me say, this was not a staffing issue. There was more than ample staff. They were only seating less than ten tables at a time, so there was a 20 minute wait. That’s fine. The buffet was empty and what was out was gross. Every guesting there openly was as shocked as we were about how terrible it was. The dishes were filthy. Our server had zero care or concern.

We had the buffet. It was terrible the gravy was stuck to the bottom of the cooker pot. There was hardly any options at all. The only reason we stayed was because we have a 2 year old who was starving. My daughters cup wasn’t clean, it was just a terrible experience all the way around. We will definitely not be back. We was hoping sense they reopened they took the time to upgrade some things. Very disappointing.

I will revisit and revise my review later but for now I can only give them 3 stars because the service was good, the price was a little high and I was very disappointed in the food bar there was very little food to choose from there was 2 meat choices and there was only 4 vegetables on the hot food portion of the bar. They had 2 soups and some fruit and salad which were good.

The service was great. Hope was our server and see did a great job! The food wasn’t good! We ordered the food bar. The fish (I think it was salmon) was so dry that it was almost inedible. The butterfly shrimp were so overcooked that I could crumble them to pieces. The server had them to cook some more, which were properly cooked. However, there was no way that it was worth $55. Have gotten lousy food on several occasions and will not waste my money there again!

Just not worth what we paid. 12.99 hot bar and hot bar didn’t have much on it. And I found a long hair on the green beans. Yuck! It was almost 34.00 for two of us plus the tip.

No hand sanitizer was available, the food was cold, there were army worms all in the floor that was either crawling around everywhere or that had been stepped on and smashed… But our waitress was nice. Management wasn’t concerned about opening a food establishment that had worms crawling everywhere. The only reason for a 1 star is because it doesn’t give an option for anything less.
