Quite literally the best hibachi I’ve had in a long time. The food was fresh, the shrimp were perfection and it is always a fun time to go and sit at the grill where all the tricks are played. This is my favorite spot for a delicious bite, be it hibachi or sushi — you never leave hungry or disappointed.

Called ahead and made reservation- was told they could seat us. Gave our name. We have been on the road for 8 hours and our kids wanted hibachi. We get to the restaurant and are completely ignored. Not only are they under staffed, but when told we had a reservation we were told they could seat only 6 of the 7 of us, what were we supposed to do- tell one person not to eat?! We did not get to eat, wasted 30 minutes of our travels and are now driving another 30 minutes to a different hibachi restaurant for our kids.

The reason for the 4 stars was the chef. It was lunch and I guess they just had this one inexperienced chef I would rate as a 3 for the interaction we had with him. He dropped the spatula, couldn’t do the onion choo choo, didn’t devein the shrimp very well…However, he managed to make the food taste very good. The show IS important and it was not good for lunchtime. Dinner is probably the best time to go. Again, service, food and everything but our chef was top notch. I’ll go back, but probably at dinner or the weekends

I used to come here a lot for hibachi for birthday celebrations when i was younger. Today was my 19th birthday, and I was very excited to eat here because it had been a very long time since i had been back. The food was amazing, lots of nostalgia. My only reason for a mostly negative review is because the chef asked what my gender was. I am a girl, but I keep my hair mid-length and dressed in a nice shirt and pants. The way that i dress myself may not be “girly” but you can clearly tell by my figure that i am a girl. I was extremely uncomfortable by the question, and it made me very upset. Kind of ruined my birthday vibe. I was very uncomfortable for the rest of the dinner/service. Our chef also made rude comments about my grandparents regarding a statement that my grandpa had made regarding a steak he ordered. I know old people are picky, but you shouldn’t say that to the family that they came with. Overall, food was great, but our chef was not.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! We don’t have a Wasabi or Kobe’s nearby so we decided to try Shogun. I am so glad we did. Everything about it was great. The hostess was welcoming and nice. Our chef was amazing and funny. We loved it so much we went back the next night. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

It’s a good place to go with friends to. The habachi was fun because the cook was entertaining. Unfortunately the rice and meat would have been cold until the veggies were done, that way I didn’t eat those. I feel like they could put everything on the grill at once, so you don’t eat ingredient by ingredient but actually have a full meal. The sushi was good, not my personal favorite tho. The best thing was honestly the beef and the sauce!

Very bland. Soups are just the “clear broth” with boiled vegetables. Would have probably been acceptable from a mall food court but not a restaurant charging $20+ a plate.

Shogun has the fun Hibachi area, where you can watch your food being cooked. They are very willing to make food that requires eliminating an ingredient you are sensitive to. I cannot eat gluten and they make my salmon teriyaki without the teriyaki. Love Shogun.
