You can taste the quality of salmon and tuna. Yakitori skewers are really small but good. Chalkboard menu only as it often changes. Nothing on tap but they have your typical Japanese bottled beer.

This small restaurant isn’t as small as it looks from the outside. There were many options. I’m not a person who loves raw sushi, so I went with the Yakitori. Select bacon-wapped anything, and you won’t go wrong. I really liked the chicken meatballs. The service was outstanding. It ran us $79 before the tip for a few really small plates, but one was two small pieces of waygu so that price is a given. If you like to experiment with different rolls and flavors, this is your place.

High quality sushi for a good price. My favorites were the Bluefin Otoro, Chicken meatball yakitoro and hamachi Serrano makimono. Least favorite was the chicken breast skewer, too much of a horseradish taste for my liking.

I recently visited Shobu by Kengo and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Despite the small size, the atmosphere felt intimate and bustling, without feeling too crowded. We sat at the bar and received excellent service from our bartender, who provided great recommendations that did not disappoint. The portion sizes and pricing were fair, and we did not feel rushed despite the restaurant being busy with a waitlist. The only thing I would change is the absence of regular tuna maki on the menu, as the regular tuna nigiri was incredible and would make an excellent roll. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning in the future.

this was our first visit and it was awesome I really liked the atmosphere, along with the customer service they explain the menu thoroughly. Went back the next week, just as amazing! Bento chicken had huge portions Ramen is only on Mondays and Tuesdays, but everything is made well, great price, clean. will be back!!!!
