Great little hole in the wall diner. The food and service are great and they have local, historical decor. We go at least once a month and drive 35 miles one way to get there. Worth the drive.

Lovely place and great prices for solid portions! 9.99 for BBQ ribs with 2 sides, 10.99 for brisket with 2 sides. Rotating menu depending on the day of the week. Open 11am until sold out. We left completely satisfied!

A small little restaurant with a big amount of flavor! The tenderloin was huge! Almost too much to eat. Homemade slaw was sweet and baked Mac and Cheese was delicious! We are looking forward to coming back and trying something new!

Got pulled pork and a double of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was awesome, the pulled pork was good, had a signature Smokey flavor but did feel to be lacking in on seasoning, however the sauce made up for it. Overall, for a bbq in the middle of town I was very happy, and the price was perfect. I’ll definitely be back, can’t wait to see how good this place will be in a few years!

Found them on Google maps so I stopped in to check them out. I got to meet the owners and was able to chat with them for a few.

Disappointing is probably the best word to describe my visit to this local BBQ eatery. I came here for lunch on a Monday and ordered the pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, and the macaroni salad. I also had someone with me and they ordered the chicken quarter, green beans, and smoked macaroni and cheese. We both started with the mac and cheese which was a mistake, because it set us up for false expectations. The mac and cheese was the best thing amongst everything we ordered, it was warm and seasoned very well. Unfortunately it all went blandly downhill after that. My macaroni salad was fairly flavorful, had a good crunch when necessary, and tasted like it could’ve been homemade. Unfortunately the green beans my companion had looked, smelled, and tasted like they came out of one of those industrial sized cans. Moving onto the main parts of the dishes, my pulled pork tasted only of moisture. No seasonings, no rub, no flavor, just wet. The chicken quarter, while visually appealing, also had little to no taste. It didn’t look, taste, or smell like it had ever been on a smoker. There was no telltale pink hue on the meat that you find on a low and slow smoke. The biggest letdown of all though, was without a doubt the barbecue sauce. I’ve had sauces that taste heavily of vinegar, of smoke, of ketchup, of mouth searing fire. I’ve had great sauces and I’ve had bad sauces. This sauce was none of those things, because it tasted like absolutely nothing. It had the color, consistency, and mouthfeel of barbecue sauce yet it might as well have been thick water for all it added to both my pulled pork and my companions chicken quarter. While chewing I actually looked around the tables searching for a salt and pepper shaker or anything I could add to my sandwich to impart some flavor into it. In summary, if you’re someone who likes the aesthetic of barbecue components on a plate but dislikes the actual taste of barbecue, then this is the place for you.
