Edit: It’s been a year since my original review, and we still love it here. One of the most affordable & authentic Korean restaurants- their price includes tax! They have budae stew (army stew), noodles, soup etc too.

I felt like I was in Korea eating the noodles and homemade dumplings. The self-serve was very comfortable and it was such a queen and tasty place!

This restaurant is underrated. As a Korean, the soup is real and healthy. Also it is a self-service, you don’t have to worry about tip. Their prices are reasonable and a lot cheaper than the same kind of restaurant across the street. Sulrungtang is just $13.00 including tax. I love this place.

Been here a couple times and left each time not satisfied. The man at the counter is really nice but the food here is not that great. You can find the same food for better taste and quality at near by restaurants. The only plus side is they open earlier than most restaurants BUT, I would rather wait a couple more hours to eat somewhere else. I don’t feel like it’s worth it.

Me that Oyster Noddles taste amazing, when you combine with cabbage kimchi,it’ll boost the taste. The service here was great,I’ve no complaints and recommended y’all try this place.

The only reason I chose this place over the many other Korean restaurants in this area is because the nengmyeong (cold noodles) looked so good in the picture. Nengmyeong is my favorite Korean dish and this one was very bland and warm (a good nengmyeong is always icy). On top of that I had 4 pair of scissors break on me trying to cut the noodles. Finally, my husband got the goat stew for 20 dollars yet there was barely any goat in there, it was all soup. We left unsatisfied!

Our go-to place for seolleontang in the area. Definitely a no-frills restaurant that is mainly self-serve (including the kimchi!). Love how everything here tastes more home-made rather than a restaurant.

This is my favorite seolleongtang place in the DFW area. I’ve visited this place at least a dozen times and neglected to write them a review earlier.

Affordable and delicious Korean noodles – I was needing to get my fix of Kalguksu noodles in Dallas and came across this restaurant. I ordered the anchovy broth kalguksu with an order of mandu. The noodles were chewy and the broth was flavorful! The portions were large and they have a self serve banchan counter with different types of pickled vegetables and sauces. I left highly satisfied and will be coming back for more!!
