To begin with, it’s important to remember that the Icona Resort in Avalon NJ is incomoarable among the other available seaside getaways at this location along the Jersey Shore. Immaculate spotless and exceedingly comfortable accommodations await your visit. A wide range of dining options are available to satisfy almost any palate; and a brew pub is also located on the property with tasty filling pub fare. Poolside service is also available for a quick bite prior to your trip to the beach, which is immediate to the facility. After a bit of sun, back to the beach bar for music and drinks with friends. A morning coffee at Shimmers Bistro at the Icona is a must, where Starbucks coffee and continental breakfast items can be had, while Pasquale, the resident Barista will engage you with his signature “witty” banter. Icona is a must for your first class getaway.

Recent morning coffee at Shimmers was fantastic due to the wonderful time spent with the barista Pasquale. He was friendly, kind and terrific to talk with and share many stories. Pasquale was a great start of the day and anyone would enjoy your time with him. Coffee was excellent too!
