Top not: all MEATs are super FRESH and high quality. Second: services are super friendly and great. They change your bbq plates all the time . Third: prices are super reasonable.

Great all you can eat Korean BBQ. Service is attentive and the meats are delicious. The only downside is the small portions of potato salad, glass noodles, and other sides. It requires one to constantly order them. Besides that, the place is well worth it.

My first experience with Korean BBQ. We had short ribs and Bulgogi beef, both tasty and marinated well, no need for extra sauces or salt and pepper. Once you are seated you are checked on often, they changed the grill grate a few times. Recommend trying with more people so we could order a variety of meats, the two we ordered were very filling. The rice is good.

It’s an okay place where you have to cook your own food. this place is a SOLID 3 out of 5. Nothing wrong with that rating at all. The experience was good. The waitresses were helpful, nice and welcoming. The employees are definitely a 5 out of 5. Food was okay. When doing buffet style, you can only pick 3 meats. They will replace the grill after your rounds of meat. The marinated meat is good but bbq it in any way, it still doesn’t give you that ‘memorable’ taste. The pork belly slices were not thick but thin enough to have it cooked fairly quick. The marinated beef was tasty but the sauce just didn’t have the ‘kick’. The marinated chicken was good but not astonishing. The brisket was probably the best meat. The sides were decent but forgettable. The seafood was okay. It’s not close to the authentically fresh seafood but its okay for what it is. If you’re expecting ‘fresh-out-of-the-water-justgotthesquidthismorning”, you’ve come to the wrong BBQ. Overall, the food experience was just okay. It’s interesting that you can bbq your own food but having been to several Korean BBQ spots, this one is okay. If this is the only Korean Barbecue in the area, it’s not too bad but don’t expect high-end quality meats.

Our waiter, a gentleman, was amazing and very respectfully attentive. Honestly, walking in if we never encountered him within the first five minutes there, we would have left. The host who sat us was beyond rude, unwelcoming and unprofessional.

The majority of the meats were delicious, especially the marinated short rib. All of the sides were subpar besides the complementary green onion pancake. Any drinks including water is an additional charge.

Clean restaurant, clean bathrooms (a little dark though), nice size table, attentive service, good meat portions, and the macarons and mochi are delicious! Only issue would be the racks get charred very quickly. The spicy pork bulgogi and japchae are really good!

If you’ve ever been to GEN Korean BBQ in LA or the Bay Area, you’ll be extremely disappointed here. Shila is more expensive ($33 for dinner vs $28 at GEN) and has fewer options. Very few side options available besides rice, soup, salad, and veggies, no noodle based sides, kimchi, or anything like that. What really annoyed me was that they won’t give you a glass of water for free, you have to pay $1 for a bottle of Kirkland brand water. Also a 4% surcharge if you pay with card instead of cash. Really dirty and grimy inside too, the whole place needs a deep cleaning.
