The king-sized donkatsu is the way to go! I underestimated how much I would enjoy this. Super crunchy and flakey! The meat itself was pretty moist and tender as well. For my preferences, they give a good portion of rice and cabbage (which has a sweet salad dressing on it). Lots of katsu sauce too.

I used to come here a lot, but after today… no more. They use the Covid excuse to raise prices and dramatically reduce portions. I get the raising prices but to reduce the portion to over 50% is a bit too much. Expect to leave hungry at a $18 price tag for a dish here. Look at the picture and be the judge yourself. Such a shame.

Just wanted to share that the owner of Shiho Donkatsu and Honglin are same. I ordered JJM and donkatsu from there last week and the lady flipped her screen for me to sign my credit card. I “skip” on tipping because I didn’t feel the need to tip her (this is food court where I pick up my food, eat at a table and put away the tray when done). I guess she didn’t like NO TIP, her face expression changed and handed me the call tag in a nasty way.

It’s in the Source Mall cafeteria 3F. I ordered Curry Donkatsu and the tasty is just fine. But I waited almost 30 mins to get my meal and I found that they shared kitchen and all other staffs with the chinese restaurant placed next to them.
