Ok, I absolutely love Shell Shack so much that I could eat it every day. After walking in the Carry the Load, my sister and I wanted some seafood. We went to the nearest Shell Shack to get our seafood fix. I ordered shrimp, crawfish, crab, and broccoli, kitchen sink HOT. This is not what I got. I shrimp, crab, broccoli, and no to very little seasoning. I expressed my concern to the waitress, and she tried her best to rectify the problem. She brought me some sauce, and unbeknownst to her, it wasn’t spicy at all. I asked for the manager and explained my issue. He graciously took my plate to the kitchen, and he put the sauce on my food. When he brought my food back, it was cold. I didn’t say anything further, I ate what I could and went home

Every-time I’ve gone into the establishment I feel like the employees don’t want to be there. There is a sign that says “wait to be seated” but the attendees don’t want to seat you. I places a to-go order tonight and had to do everything just shy of cook the food myself.

Had a great birthday dinner here for my mom. The service was great and the food was great too. We haven’t been here since before the pandemic and I was nervous the food would have changed. The Only thing that changed were the prices, and boy did they change . With all that’s going on in the world high prices are expected. Anyway we will definitely be going back again.

We got raw dozen oysters, date night (kitchen sink, medium spice) combo. The oysters tasted fresh and they gave us plenty of horseradish and sauce for them. The king crab and snow crab were good size, and everything tasted great. A little too salty for some parts but overall a good experience. Service was good once it was established but kind of slow at the beginning, took around 20 minutes before we got to order.

I have been coming to this place for about 2 years now and it is my favorite place for seafood. My normal order is always the lemon pepper and garlic boiled shrimp and an adult cherry limeade. Not only does their food taste great but I love coming here because of the quality of the seafood. I have yet to have a mealy and overcooked batch of shrimp. The oysters here are also really great for the price. They are nice and meaty and rarely grainy. Overall a good casual place with amazing food for the price.
