I found this soul food restaurant from Uber Eats Everything was delicious. I had the baked chicken potatoes salad and yams. Which was seasoned perfect. Also ordered livers and onion Mac and cheese and collards greens. Everything was seasoned just right very tasty. Finally found a soul food restaurant with real homemade Mac and cheese. I also came in for take out and the environment was very clean. Friendly staff super down to earth and professional. Definitely will be going back. The only thing I was not a fan of was the Carolina BBQ needed more vinegar and it was over cooked where is was mushy but I would definitely be willing to try another day to see if it was just that one time. Also had a slice of the lemon cake very moist and tasty.

Me and my husband just enjoyed some very delicious lunch from a childhood friend’s restaurant. My husband ordered fish, mac & cheese and green beans, I got a turkey wing, mac & cheese and yams. Everything was seasoned very well and the portion size was very filling. I would definitely recommend trying this establishment.

Me and my girlfriend went here Sunday and we both got the hamburger with gravy and mashed potatoes I had yams and Mac and she had Mac and cabbage and when I tell you we ate that plate in the driveway it was sooooo good prices was reasonable for how much food we ordered and the customer service was awesome we will be coming back soon thankssss

Me and my man aren’t really fans I got the 3 piece fish with yams & cabbage. The fish was very dry and the yams tasted like pure lemon , the cabbage just wasn’t good in my opinion it’s hard to explain the flavor. My man had the 3 piece fried chicken, Mac n cheese & rice with gravy. He enjoyed the chicken a lot but wasn’t a fan of the sides at all. He said the rice looked and had the texture of mashed potatoes & the Mac n cheese had some flavor but was dry. It’s a clean establishment but it’s just not for us. Tried it due to the positive reviews but they weren’t accurate for us .

I was in town visiting family and found my new fish spot! Fried fish & shrimp were SO GOOD. Also had potato salad, mac & chs, fries & cabbage. ALL bomb. Not a crumb left, and customer service is on point!

Amazing service, which started from the phone call. The food was perfectly seasoned had the collards and Mac w/ fish & you can really taste the authenticity in the cooking. Being from Louisiana i needed this kind of spot. I encourage everyone to check it out in hopes of sharing similar experiences.
