My son gave me a birthday party here and it was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was professional and music was awesome. You will definitely won’t be disappointed. We ate Lamb Chops, Chicken, omg the collard greens, Mac & cheese,fish & grits and so much more. Absolutely outstanding ❤️ ❌ ❌ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Went to try it out, and will definitely be returning. The food is terrific, and very flavorful. At first, we thought the prices were a bit steep, but the portions make it right. We had oxtail, jerk chicken and broccoli, shrimp and chicken fried rice, mac & cheese, and collard greens, and everything was great. The service was friendly, and super helpful, and we got to meet Shawnee, who was very gracious. The vibe is easy and casual, but they need more people through the door. Try it, you’ll love it!

I heard so much about Shawnees China Soul that I had to try it myself. I had jerk lamb chops & chicken & shrimp fried rice. Delicious!!! Nice atmosphere, nice people (the owner and server) and good food you can’t beat that. I’ll definitely will be back.

I went to Shawnee’s tonight for dinner, I had a few friends coming into town from Baltimore. This was my first time here, but my sister has been here before and she loves this place. It is BYOB, when I say this food is amazing it’s amazing. So much food and it is really delicious. I had the opportunity to meet Sean. He is the owner of the restaurant, kind loving beautiful woman that is very pleasant and does a fantastic job. They even have a private room for parties thank you Shana you just gave me an idea to do my 50th+ birthday party at your restaurant. May God continue to bless you with your restaurant.

We did Father’s Day brunch here! It was our first visit. We try to spend with Black-owned as much as possible & they did not disappoint! The food was delicious & the service was comparable to none. Additionally, I was most impressed with how accommodating & gracious they were. We chose our menu in advance; we were served some dishes at our tables; they even had vegetarian sausage & eggs for our non-meat family members. We look forward to going again soon!

My sister had her birthday brunch celebration at Shawnees China Soul. The service was excellent. The atmosphere, inviting. The food was exceptional! I truly enjoyed every aspect of the experience. The staff was so attentive and professional. I enjoyed an array of foods, and everything was absolutely delicious. 100% Excellence!!!

The food was delicious, especially the oxtails, collard greens, and mac & cheese. The portion size was enormous. I was soooo full, I had to request a takeout tray which I ate over 2 additionsl days. The service was great. I even got to meet the owner. I have and will continue to recommend friends to this establishment and will visit again, and again!

I actually had the pleasure of eating from Shawnee’s twice. I went with my husband for their Valentines Dinner. Everything was so good, you could really see the Asian and soul food fusion. The ginger short ribs were sooooo good! A few weeks late I did takeout at their Afrobeats brunch. I was actually really upset because the initial menu was a nice fusion of African/Chinese/Soul. The menu changed two times before the actual brunch and there was no hint of anything African on the menu. The food was still pretty good. I’ve noticed now that the menu is very soul/southern oriented and not much Of the Chinese fusion. I would still give it another shot, but hoping for more consistency.

My family and I celebrated my son’s 17th Birthday at Shawnees China Soul ! We had the buffet brunch and the food was nice and hot. Everything was delicious and the customer service was amazing. We will be back!

The customer service was the best I have had in years! Friendly staff, very accommodating. Food is very good, the seafood macaroni and cheese was spicy but tasty, you can make a meal out of it!
