I found this place when I was trying to find Trini “doubles.” No luck finding anywhere locally that offers them but everything on this menu looked so good I had to try it. I’m a wuss when it comes to spice-level so I didn’t even use the sauce that came with the Trini beef tacos. Even sauce-less they were AMAZING! Loads of flavor with just beef and onion – and a little kick. We also got the chicken rasta pasta (without shrimp.) Also delicious – and a very generous portion size! The only corn fritters I’ve had in the past are the gooey sweet kind. Shan corn fritters are more dense and savory (not sweet) but also good.

I came across this place on Google, and I’m happy I did. I ordered three meals (Jerk Shrimp & Grits, Birria Wrap, and Shrimp & Chicken Pasta) also I ordered a Red Velvet Cake that was great… All three dishes were amazing and made fresh to perfection; I didn’t wait no more than 30 mins for my food and it tasted great. Definitely a spot I recommend and they have a variety of choices.

The first time I had got their vegetarian tacos it was amazing. The last couple of times have been a bit troublesome. I ordered a little late but they’re still open so I would think the food will still be good. Ps instead of eating the tacos I ate the Cheetos and water, I will be getting my refund from DoorDash tomorrow.

Don’t waste your money on the Jerk Shrimp and Grits. I got 4 regular sized shrimp, no extra flavoring or since and like 2 cups of grits. For $15! Straight rip off!!

Do not sleep on this place. If you’re a foodie you HAVE to go here. Everything is fresh and the flavors are like nothing else I’ve tried before. The chef is so personable and recommended we order the jerk chicken wrap (extra spicy) and barría tacos (medium). The meat is slow-cooked all day to perfection and the spice combinations are unmatched. For two people it was about 25 mins to make (they tell you upfront how long) and it is worth every single minute and penny. Anyone saying otherwise doesn’t appreciate quality food and service. What a hidden gem, will be coming back many more times and sharing with everyone.
