I’ve been getting meals from this resturant for about 10 years now. I have never had a bad experiance with any dish we have ordered. Matter of fact the Shanghai is the best chineese food in Nampa, the others not so much. And they have never forgotten any sauces or had any rancid food, that Karen posted a unfair review and she should remove it from the page. Try the Shanghai disappointed.

We really enjoyed the food! It was our first experience and loved the flavor. It tastes like real food and not artificial like a lot of Chinese food at other places. We can’t wait until we can dine-in! Once they open the dine-in, this will be a five-star review❤️

I’ve never seen my husband throw his food away. Ever . We ordered the family pack for delivery. It included egg rolls, pork and seeds, fried shrimp, fried rice, chicken pan fried noodle, and… mystery meat sweet and sour meal. My first bite was the fried shrimp. At first I thought ‘interesting, it’s like a sourdough batter’. Now I’m beginning to think it was just sour batter. The egg rolls were odd. Each tasted different than the other in equally off-putting but unique ways. The pan fried noodles were fine but tasted awfully fishy. The chicken was gray and chewy (and ‘EW’ per my daughter). Pork and seeds: didn’t even try it but not pretty. The sweet and sour sauce was the only thing not sour…but also not tasty. The fried rice was bland and the least of our worries but, honestly, we didn’t want to risk it after everything else. We took several bites and then tossed it all. Fortune cookies (followed by cereal dinner) – saved the day.

Got the mandarin chicken and chicken chow mein. Very first take out here and all I can say is, that was the best take out food I’ve had in a long time. Everything tasted amazing!! Definitely worth it for the budget and size. Everyone needs to try this place!

I had fried rice at restaurant in Boise today and now I feel bad. First, because I feel like I cheated on Shanghai and second because my gut actually feels kinda bad. Shanghai has the best fried rice ever and I will never stray again. I’ll continue to drive out to the 2c to get chinese food.

We ordered on grub hub at 8pm, there was no update on our order until 9pm when it was cancelled because they were closing. We ordered an hour before close and they didn’t even start making our order in that hour. I don’t know about you, but in the restaurants I’ve worked at you don’t close until you have taken care of all your customers! Absolutely ridiculous and totally inconsiderate. Will not even try this place again, if this is our experience the first time wanting to try it, we are definitely not going to try a second time.

Ordered take out last night and loved it. Best chinese food i’ve had in a long time. Wish I could try their buffet but not available at this. Hope it eventually comes back.

I ordered 2 beef chow main dinners with a egg soup, when I received the order I could smell a “burnt” smell, when I opened the container there was a massive amount of burnt smelling spaghetti with ( no joke) 2 pieces of beef. I had called the restaurant and explained what I got and the person who I talked with refused to have me come in and at least give me a little more beef, he also told me to “dig” through the noodles to find more meat! I told him I already did that. He then proceeded to tell me ” I’m sure there is more beef in the noodles” along with ” because you put your order to Uber you’ll have to call them and deal with them” so I did, and got my in whole my money back, there online says “dine in” NOT TRUE, that’s why there was a Uber eats order.

They don’t offer dining anymore. Its delivery or carry out only. The place looks terrible inside and the food wasn’t much better. Pretty sad how it’s gone down hill.

This restaurant has been pretty good in the past but they seem to have gone down hill. The Sesame Chicken was either overcooked, old, or recooked a few times. Ordered extra fried rice and got chow mein instead. Everything was not up to the usual standard and I was very disappointed. Probably will not be going back. Right now only take out or delivery.
