Great place we found through reviews and a little searching while in the area. This restaurant has been around for years and deserves the many accolades and positive comments from other reviewers.

Excellent restaurant! Great customer service and food. My family whose from Shanghai loves coming here for the authentic food and the atmosphere of the place. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for Chinese food favorites or to try something more traditional. Their sesame chicken and crab cheese wantons are awesome, as is the Fish in Hot Chili Oil and Fried Chicken Chili Pepper dish.

Ordered lemonade, chrysanthemum tea, egg drop soup and some tofu vegetables. The tofu vegetables gravy was too salty. Wish they had a but more variety or different gravy for the vegetable dish. Soup was good. The drinks were too sweet but thats just me. Ambience and service was good.

Authentic Shanghai dishes!! My boyfriend is from Shanghai and he definitely recommend this restaurant. The owner of the restaurant was very hospitable. Food is delicious and the price is reasonable with appropriate amount. We would certainly visit again!

Shanghai Kitchen was one of the few Chinese restaurants that stood the test of time through all these years and has become a mainstay in this neighborhood. With so many restaurants offering Americanized Chinese foods, it was a rarity for Shanghai Kitchen to always stay true to traditional Shanghainese foods. Not surprisingly, this was also the restaurant most frequented by people from Shanghai as they can find the familiar taste away from home here. Remember to ask Chef Zhou for some of his recommendations from the Chinese appetizers and specials. I was always delightedly surprised. Here are their pickled cabbage, roasted peanuts, seafood fish maw soup, braised eggplant, tea duck, dynasty fish with pine nuts, and hot pot intestine.

Fairly decent restaurant with an amazing selection of dishes. Nothing stood out, but all the dishes we ordered were good. The dining area is large and spacious. Food was a bit expensive for what it is. Still, a good option for Chinese cuisine in the area.

Great restaurant. Best authentic Shanghai food I have ever had. Amazing place. Highly recommend. I love coming here to eat for Christmas. I had Panoma Fish. The fish had ginger and black garlic sauce. The scallions added good flavor. The restaurant was very busy on Christmas.

Excellent food! Best in town!!! The owner is super nice – he actually went out of his way to get me fresh lobster ( drove almost an hour) since they didn’t have it on hand.
