First time trying Shanghai Gourmet. Food was tasty but more importantly healthy and fresh, not salty or greasy. We tried the chicken fried rice; vegetable fried rice (it does have egg in it unless specified to exclude); fried dumplings (meat); fried vegetable dumplings; and general tso’s chicken (mild spiciness). A little pricey but worth it. Will order from here again for sure! Definitely recommend

Food was fresh and great! Definitely one of the best I’ve had around here! Currently only takeout but I heard you’ll be able to dine-in this September. Will be going again thanks for the amazing food!

This place has freshest and tastiest Chinese consistently. Wings are NOT old and dry and their dishes are not drenched in oil salt like many others. My favorite Singapore Rice Noodle has savory curry flavor and “wok hei”. Its not just ingredients mixed together in a bowl, it’s high fire stir fry. Identifying wok hei is like real smoked BBQ vs liquid smoke flavoring. ️

This restaurant no longer offers dine in service. There food is excellent!! I call and pick up the staff is very friendly. There prices are more than average but it is worth it!!.

Years ago I moved to Orange, CT no more than a mile from this place, and it instantly became my absolute favorite. Everything is fresh and authentic, and if you’re into the commonly found “fast food” type Chinese takeaway, this might not be for you. The General Tso’s chicken and Pork Fried Rice are outstanding. Now that I’m back in the area I need to make it a point to eat here more often!

We ordered the food on a Saturday at dinner time and it tasted like leftovers from lunch. There has been no dine in since Covid and they jacked the prices up and the quality went down, typical!

Probably my favorite restaurant of all time! Very friendly staff and every single dish is such a hit! The Thai Curry is probably my favorite and if you’re vegetarian almost any dish can be made vegetarian! And on top of it all it’s super affordable!
