One of the worst Chinese restaurants. AVOID IT!

Delicious and flavorful Chinese food in the International District. I particularly recommend the hot & sour soup and the hand-shaven barleygreen noodles. Packed with chewy noodles, fresh veggies, and tender squid, this dish is a high point on the menu. The kind staff provide excellent service. A favorite for dining in or taking out.

Surprisingly better than expected! Shrimp is the the best, crispy and still get to retain the taste of freshness. Had rice cake, tofu and veggie – all are pretty good. Would be happy to visit again.

Great neighborhood Chinese spot. Known for their hand-shaven barley noodles but everything is really solid here. Vegetable moo-shu and Peking Duck (order ahead!) are other standouts. Had kung pao tofu on my last visit and it was 10/10.

Food isn’t even good – specially for the price you’re paying. Service isn’t good… I paid a ~55 dollar bill (i was with someone else), and I left 2 dollars as tip because I didn’t feel the service was that good – I recognize this was less than suggested but again, service plus food weren’t that good. I paid at the counter, and the waitress went straight to the table I sat to pretty much ask me if I seriously left 2 dollars as tip. I felt forced to leave more, and I did it because I won’t cause a problem in public, but this behavior was disgusting to be honest. I won’t recommend this place to anyone.

My friend said this place was really good so I went. I’m guessing she’d give it 5 stars. I had Szechuan Chicken, wish was rather simple and not complex and a touch too sweet. She had shaved barley noodle with egg and beef I found that to be quite greasy and my stomach was unsettled after eating here, I think from all the grease. I would not go back.

The only reason I will be giving this place a 1 is because the food is so good. The the service on the other hand was horrible. We ate here once before and the service was bad but not this bad. I’m sure this time it was the owner serving us just by her demeanor. But she judged us from the second we walked in the door. We were given dirty looks, stared at and I’m pretty sure we were getting talked about the whole time we were there. We were made to feel unwanted and unwelcome. And our bill was almost 200$. Let me say my husband is a great tipper if the service and food is at-least decent…. Last night it was not even close to that. After we have the card to her she turned around at us told another worker something and they both looked back and shook their heads and threw down the book. She came back and made sure to circle the tip section which was option of 20-35 dollars. I’m sorry but none of that was happening we couldn’t even eat peacefully and are kids were also feeling unwanted and no they aren’t off the wall kids they are very well mannered and quiet. We tipped $5 (we didn’t have to tip at all) they were very mad threw down the book and tip and talked to each other and stared while we left. We all said thank you and they ignored us and turned around. Yes the food is good but if you don’t look like you have money I’m guessing I wouldn’t recommend.

Love the house special rice cakes with chicken, shrimp, calamari and napa cabbage. The hot and sour soup was also very good – loaded with tofu, mushrooms and bamboo shoots. A very satisfying meal!
