I live in CT and was ònly here for the weekend, food was ok we didn’t like the egg rolls they were the size of spring rolls and didn’t have much flavor. They were also over priced but there’s not much for take out in the area so I guess they could get away with it.

I’m from Atlanta traveling through and would recommend Shanghai Garland! Excellent Chinese food! Being from a big city we have lots of choices and Shanghai is a good as any!

Very run down dive WITH AWESOME FOOD! Every time I try another Chinese restaurant, I think it isn’t as good as Shanghai Garden!

I enjoy the food here, they have lunch/dinner special that are a great bang for your buck. Always friendly and pretty speedy, although i miss the dine in option.

One of the best Chinese places in the area. Definitely a take out restaurant although they do have tables.

Awful food, peeling floor and ceiling, Tasted like prison food, No tea, coughing on our food, feels like you are in a closet! Don’t eat here!!!

The food was decent enough. Upon arrival however, it was extremely packed inside. I had placed my order about 2 hours prior to picking it up. There were at least 12 people in line waiting to get their food when I arrived. Luckily, my order was ready, but we felt extreme sympathy for the poor teenage looking young lady, who was the only working employee besides the owner, who was there, and she was doing all the cooking. I can’t imagine the stress she was under that night. We tipped well that night. I know it is a family business there. Our food was fresh and still hot when we opened it, although it appeared it was hastily thrown into “to go” containers. But, it was tasty and it is the typical American Chinese meals where you scarf it down but you’re some how still hungry like a few hours later. And, this is now the only Chinese joint in town, so I’m sure they are quite busy a lot. They used to deliver, but don’t anymore.

I ordered the chicken and broccoli with an egg roll. I also had the wonton soup mixed with egg drop soup. No flavor and it was so greasy. I was so disappointed.
