We live in the area and have eaten here many times. I wanted to like this place because it’s family run. The quality of food continues to disappoint. I’m not sure what they’re trying to pass off as chicken but it’s definitely not whole meat off of a breast. If you get something that is fried like general tao’s chicken, you’ll get more better than chicken. If you get a dish that isn’t fried like the cashew chicken, you’ll see the tiny little chunks of meat and wonder what part of the chicken is this.

I had been eyeing this place on many visits, this was our first time to eat here. Sadly, it was just ok. I had the sesame chicken, it was really sweet but not very flavorful. My hubs had a beef dish that he liked, I had a bite and it did have a bit more seasoning to it. The egg rolls were nice and crispy. The staff was delightful. We certainly won’t rule it out and will give it another try in the future.

We make sure we eat at Shanghai every time we visit Pagosa Springs. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and the service EXCEPTIONAL! I truly believe that you won’t find better service at any restaurant in Colorado. The food is also fresh and delicious which is just the icing on the cake.

What a great experience! Was here for my friends wedding and she kept saying how great the food is and it did not disappoint! I got the Szechuan shrimp and it was AMAZING- great flavor. My friend said we had to try to lomein, and it was by far the best lomein I have EVER had! Prices were amazing too and the staff was exceptional, especially our server. 10/10 recommend!
