I’ve been eating here since I moved to CT in 1990. Recently moved back to CT after 7 years in CO, and it hasn’t changed a bit. Same gentleman is still running the shop and counter. Food is always fantastic!

I wish I could provide 0 stars! FOOD is HORRIBLE!!!! I ordered general to’s chicken and happy/special rice the everything was salty. The chicken was not sweet and tangy , in fact, it was salty spicy and Soggy. Leaving this review ha me nauseous. Food is not Chinese sorry

I have enjoyed their food tremendously. But when I called up to place an order for delivery I was told they have a $30 minimum. That is just ridiculous and they wanted to charge me $22 for lo mein and chicken wings. Also ridiculous. So I don’t know if I’ll be returning!!!!!

I ordered from them for the first time today. They were fast, food was hot and pretty tasty. The delivery guy was friendly as well. The only thing I would say they should provide utensils and napkins when delivering food. My first order was a good one.

Been coming here for years since I was a kid. Now I’m 35yrs old and not much has changed in their Recipes. Still really good, left the area for a few years and the owners Husband knew who I was and asked about my family after 8 years.

I waited 1hr 45 minutes for my order to be delivered before I called back to see what was taking so long. I was told they were very busy and if I could pick up my order? A phone call would have been nice to let me know. I told them to forget it now, and I’ll never order there again.

Same as other reviewers, I’ve been going to Shanghai for over 20 years. I know the family personally and they are very nice folks. The food is good, well prepared. The place is clean and safe. Try their meals with the ‘white sauce’ option , basically a garlic sauce. Chix or shrimp broccoli is very good.
