I’ve just recently move to this town and Shane’s is my go to barbecue spot. But this one was not clean at all, the slaw was more like soup, wanting to sit down and enjoy my meal I could not. After ordering my meal I looked to my left filthy looked to my right dirty. Seems the staff was all in the back doing nothing other than having someone cleaning. I really wanted to cancel my order cause I feel if you don’t keep the area of your restaurant clean where the customers themselves are able to see lord knows how the back is kept. Pictures below.

Today was my first time trying Shane’s. The food is decent taste wise. For the price, portions could be a bit bigger than what is provided. My tenders were cooked too hard and my small rack of ribs barely had barbecue sauce on them and I wanted them wet. I may give them a try again in the future I don’t know for sure if I will at the moment.

By far the worst $20 lunch I’ve ever eaten. The ribs were definitely old and dry with cold sauce on them. The chicken tenders were like jerky and the chopped chicken breast was also dry. They loaded it with sauce to make it seem moist. It’s sad that they call this bbq. I know better than to eat at a BBQ franchise but didn’t dream it would be this bad. On a good note my dog liked it.

The food tasted like it was heated up, when I went to get up I stuck to the seat from the booth being so sticky. I also went to get a drink refill and the soda machine shot drink everywhere. There was an employee that witnessed it and her response was, “We have closed the drink machine for the nigh, sorry”… She just walked off and left the drink everywhere completely unbothered.

Food is good but you don’t get a lot for the price. The “large” sides are only 12OZ cups. We got the 4 family pack that comes with two side items. We picked Mac n cheese and salad. Well apparently when you chose the salad it only comes in a 4 OZ cup! When I placed my order I expected it to be the same size as the Mac n cheese! Enough to feed my family, not enough just for one. No where on the website or menu does it tell you it’s only for one person. Makes you pretty mad when you live half an hour from the restaurant only to get home and discover you pretty much only have 1 side instead of two.
