We come here pretty often, our experience is usually pretty basic with ordering and the staff just bringing us the food. But this time the employee (her name is D) she welcomed us with a smile, communicated with us as she would be right with us to get our order. She brought us our food quickly and efficiently. Asked if we needed anything. She continued to be persistent checking on us making sure we were okay. She cleaned up our trays and was just very nice. Exceptional service from D.

Counter service ribs & chicken, but not barbeque. No brisket or sausage. The ribs fall off the bone, but we’re guessing they’re soaked in brine. There wasn’t really a smoke ring or smokey flavor. Instead, they were slathered in sweet sauce, which we tried to wipe off. The coleslaw was also sweet.

Love Shane’s Rib Shack and my girl, Cate, who has been taking care of me at the register (and table) for some months now. The last few weeks I have gone , I have been getting some other ladies (which that’s no problem at all) , I still love the food but the people that are taking my orders have the nastiest attitudes and one lady kept cutting me off while telling her my order. This week I got it ubered to my office so I could just bypass all of that now.

The food used to be pretty good. Unfortunately the ribs taste like they have been baked in the oven and then covered with sauce. Or maybe even boiled but I must say the service was excellent. Great attitudes and great service at this Newnan location.

Shane’s has officially lost our business. We used to come here all the time, but we quit going because the meat started having too many hard, unchewable pieces. We decided to give it another chance after a few months, and this time it was even worse. My partner and I both lost our appetite and couldn’t even eat a fourth of our sandwiches. Disappointed.
Traveling Cosmos and Tacos
I picked Shane’s Rib Shack to have lunch because the online menu showed they served Brisket but when I got there, they said they did not have it. So I ended up ordering the half ribs, Mac n cheese and side salad. My sister-in-law ordered the half chicken. Food was tasty. Loved the outside dining option and liked the peach sweet tea.

Not worth any stars at all. Worst experience ever. Smoked chicken, NO! It was totally gray. Looked baked, no smoke flavor at all. Brunswick stew had way too much tomato sauce or bbq sauce. My husband’s chopped pork sandwich looked gray like the chicken. He said that there wasn’t any smoke flavor to it either. Save your money and find a place that knows how to cook bbq. I’ll never go back to this chain restaurant. I’ll go to Dreamland!
