Very disappointed today! Got the tenders lunch special for $7.99 and it only came with 2 tenders! Then they charged 0.40 each for the tenders to have sauce on them. And then sweet potatoe fries were an extra $1.00 charge. I would not have expected this of Shane’s rib shack!

First off I’m very disappointed to come back home to the area Shane’s was built. You’d think that McDonough would take pride in the brand but the food was horrible at this location. I’ve had other locations and they were way better. The pulled pork was very dry as of it’s been sitting in the oven all damn day and my bread wasn’t even toasted on my damn sandwich. Fries weren’t cooked all the way and the tinders were so damn small. This was not a great food experience for the price you pay at this place. What a joke!

REPEATED disappointment. Shane’s has always been our go to for barbeque; but that’s no longer the case. We have had repeated problems with the ribs (too dry and tough to eat) and spoken with the restraurant management. They have tried and tried to get it right and fail. We stopped getting ribs there and went with the pulled pork plate. Every order gets smaller and smaller and the price increases. We ordered two pulled pork plates today- Attached is the amount of meat included for $12.00. It appears much larger than it is. We use to get much more meat with a pulled pork plate. Additionally the fries were cold and mushy, the mac and cheese is mediocare, the salad wasn’t edible, two pieces of plain white bread (forget the bread and give me some pulled pork!) and I had to ask for sauce (there was none included in the order).

The food was okay. Nothing to rave about. It was what I expected it to be. I’d go again because it’s the closest rib place by house, and sometimes I just want some ribs.

The food was mediocre at its best. The chopped chicken tasted awful. The chicken tenders tasted as if they were frozen. Our waiter took our food to another table. Sat it down walked away, the customers at that table let him know that he had brought them the wrong food. So he proceeds to pick up the food from that table and brought it to our table. So we requested that I order be remade, only because we witnessed other customers touching the food. We won’t be returning to Shane’s

For not having table service, this place is high dollar. They give you lots of BBQ but sides are small and drinks at $2.49 is outrageous. This us not the Ritz.

What used to be a great thing is no more! So sad because this place is walking distance from us. Everything was awesome before it closed down and then reopened. The tenders and boneless wings used to be more than you could eat, now they are very very small portions and the fries I ordered extra crispy looked like they had been soaking in grease all day and were far from crispy. I know inflation hurt things and I would pay a little more for what we used to get. We have made our last trip to any Shanes! sad, but it all comes down to ownership and management.

I recommended this place to a friend so we decided to come eat inside. We had the chicken tender salad, which is my favorite. My friend loved it. It was fresh. Presentation was very nice. She enjoyed her first visit and wants to come back again. We absolutely love this place. I normally use the app to place an order and then just pick up inside to take home. The food at this location was awful…the chicken was so dry and unseasoned. If this is suppose to be bar-b-que chicken it tasted like baked, dry unseasoned chicken. The coleslaw taste watered down as if it was made days before, the potato salad was lumpy and greasy, and the ribs was very dry with no flavor, worst ribs I ever had. I spent so much money for such a disgusting meal. I will never eat here again
