Oh my. So, I already knew the bbq was tasty because we’ve ordered it numerous times in Evans, GA. I also LOVE the peach cobbler. But this is the first time I’ve had one of their salads. I am always hesitant to order a salad at a restaurant that specializes in meat. It’s rare to get a good ratio of toppings to salad, but it was spot on! My fork couldn’t even reach the bottom of the container, on my first bite. Cucumbers and tomatoes were so fresh. And the chicken was seasoned to perfection. Would definitely order again.

Look, I’ve worked good service many years. Things happen, but chicken bones in my pork is unacceptable. Cross contamination like this should not be possible in a properly designed and ran kitchen. Separate color coded cutting boards for each food type or proper sanitation between two different foods would have prevented this from occurring. That is not proper food safety. Ready to eat foods were clearly not handled correctly if an allergen such as chicken ended up in my pork. Sadly all I can leave is one star despite the food tasting great.

For 3 of us to eat lunch was $40! A bit pricy for 2 chicken strips, a burger & a scoop of BBQ!! Building nice, except ladies room light switch falling off the wall & no paper towels. Food a bit bland, could be better if they used some seasoning. No salt on fries, nothing in BBQ but fat. Even the burger was bland.

I ate the half rack plate with two sides and a drink. This is a chain restaurant and the food quality reflects that. The ribs were good. The two sides were mack and cheese that tasted like Kraft from the box and potato salad that was too sweet. I wanted to try Shane’s out of curiosity and I don’t need to go back.

Love to stop in for a quick filling lunch that isn’t the ordinary burger and fries or fried chicken. Staff has always been friendly and service is quick (depending on how busy of course) but regardless the food is hot and delicious.

We arrived around 6:30 for dinner, short line to order, 2 employees taking orders. Adequate seating available, not crowded for a Friday night. Ordered a burger and the sampler platter, was delivered to our table in a reasonable amount of time. The sweet potato fries were cold and the burger hot. Instead of bacon strips on the burger, it was like bacon crumbles. The bun was toasted and thick. The platter food was hot. A better deal than the burger. Sweet potato fries cost an extra$1. Employees were friendly. No toilet paper in the bathroom.

Beyond disappointed, they were out of what I had ordered pulled pork baked potato, wait staff asked me to trade to another item, Half smoked chicken with two sides I said yes waited another 15 minutes for something that I had already paid for and they were trading out. Once wait was over the same individual brought out may food (curbside delivery) and only said sorry for the delay. Knowing that the last time we ordered from Shane’s it to was wrong so I decided to check it out before I left…. They had yet again changed my order but this time with out concent they switched it out to chopped chicken with BBQ sauce on it and instead of my double order of fries it was only a single order fries and my son’s fries were not even in the box for his order. When I went in the individual who brought out my order (same person they entire order) I shared with her my order was not right and they said yes the cook had changed it again because they were out of lots of things including now the smoke chicken now. Okay onwards, now I understand the running out of food and having to change things, I understand it’s beyond and out of the wait staff’s control (cooperate and lack of food supplies), but what I don’t like is the cook changes it, tells the wait staff, the wait staff delivers the to go order and doesn’t say a word about it but the cook staff also messed up the order and everyone but the customer was told… This is not the first time, not the second time, but it will be the last time and we will not be back to this location again…
