It was a okay place. I’m no food expert by any means but it just didn’t have that deep wood taste that I’m used to in southern BBQ. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. You order and pay at the front counter then they will give you your drink cups. You can get your own drink and find a table, then they will bring your food out to you.

I’d say the wait to get the food was long and the price was a bit much but the amount of food and the quality tasted great when we went. I got the Cowboy burger, wife got the pork melt and kids got the tenders. We did get PLENTY of fries though. Peach cobbler was great as well.

Came to try the place out for the 1st time about an hour ago. Everyone was friendly nice environment.I got the shack sampler because I wanted to try a little of everything. Man did not realize they give you so much food and it was under $20 . The food was great and im super full and have plenty left over . Will definitely be back with friends

I ordered the pulled/shredded bell chicken it was nasty! It didn’t even look pulled just chopped up and dry ! I kindly called and asked for a refund or replacement meal manager was super UNPROFESSIONAL,” he said “my food no I made it fresh “ didn’t apologize or nothing. You can tell by the image on how dry the chicken is.

This is our third experience with this location and each one has been horrible. The first time the tenders were horrible. It’s like they were left over and refried. The second time our order was supposed to be refunded, never was. And then today, waited while other people came, ordered, and left. Got my order and drove the 25 minutes home, only to find the order was wrong. Bread barely toasted on one side (not at all on the other side), fries undercooked, and the tenders are small. Each of these experiences were at least six months apart, so this is not an individual employee problem. We will not be returning to this location, ever.

I rated it 5 before because the food was good and even the service. Today, we had dinner there and the servers were not attentive at all and it seems their minds were elsewhere, especially the one who took our orders .

Sat July 16 2022 So good when my husband gets back from his military exercise I’m taking him here. I got Brunswick stew, baked beans, fried okra, slaw and peach cobbler. I had plenty of leftovers to take home. Y’all made a pregnant mama very happy!

I’ve been eating at Shane’s with my dad and his wife since about the time they opened. We’ve never had any isues with the food, atmosphere, or service until today, we tried ordering the shack dogs for my dad’s wife who doesn’t eat pork, we wanted to sub out pork for chicken which we have done serveral times in the past. We were told no by the cashier, and we asked for a manager. The manger comes out from the back and doesn’t even bother to introduce herself and in a rude tone says “no you can’t do that” then proceeds to walk back into the back without any explanation or apologies. I’ve worked at several restaurants (cheesecake factory, Ihop ECT) as a sever and never once told a customer they can’t get what they want. I believe in the restaurant business customer satisfaction is a top priority, as they are the reason you have a job and how the business makes money. I would say that was $40 dollars they let walk out the door tonight and about $120 a month. As a side note both the chicken and pork sandwiches are the same price on the menu so there was zero excuse as to why we couldn’t sub pork out for chicken.

Even while training others, the employees were patient and understanding when taking orders from chriden. The food was wonderful. Placed on our table hot and juice. We dined in and had takeout.

We had a 4th of July party and ordered 10lbs of pulled pork bbq! I went in the day before and the lady manager was so helpful despite a crazy hard day with a lost truck & an unexpected last minute catering order for that day at lunch! She was so nice and our 4th of July bbq was delicious, moist, and came with buns & bbq sauces! Definitely will be using them again in the future! Thank you!
