I now remember why I haven’t been to Shane’s in awhile. The food I just picked up for a “family meal” is laughable. The wings were the size of my pinky with lil to be meat and so was the tenders. The tenders looked like nuggets and fried so hard some were barely chewable and the mac n cheese was bland had to add salt and pepper to it. The pulled meats was ok once you add more sauce to it. But whoever makes that potato salad let them make the rest of the food coz that’s always good(that’s what the 2 stars are for)And on top of that they forget my coleslaw. Smh

We stopped in here for dinner on a Friday night. They took our order and seated us right away. This was my first time eating here so I ordered the Shack Sampler with ribs, grilled chicken tenders, slaw, & baked beans. Everything was really good and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Only negative thing was I kinda felt like the outer edges of the ribs were overcooked and hard. Overall it was decent southern comfort food and the view of sunset outside was nice.. Enjoy!

Shane’s is not bad for a fast food style BBQ. I like it better than Dickey’s as they have some more interesting menu options and their prices are in touch with reality. My only negative about these guys is the consistency. Sometimes steak fries, sometimes crinkle cut. Sometimes wing sauce is spicy, sometimes it’s mild. Sometimes there is way too much sauce, other times its lightly sauced. The staff are great and friendly. And I love somewhere that leaves sauces out for you and doesn’t make you beg for them. Except ranch, you have to beg for that and they will still forget to give it to you.

Food was delicious, half rack of ribs and half chicken. Slaw and okra were good also. Only thing I rather had a choice of dark meat chicken because I don’t like chicken breast. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is pretty good, but noticed quality is not the same as years ago. My favorite used to be the chicken salad that offers this slight peppery flavor. But today, it was just blah. But there are some good options on the menu and the sides (potato salad and cole slaw)are delish! Peach cobbler is another family favorite as well.

I like the décor of the restaurant although the location is not the easiest place to find. Large selection on the menu and I chose to get the pork and the baby back ribs with a side of onion rings and baked beans. It also came with 2 pieces of Texas toast on the side. It was a lot of food but for $22 I would have expected it to be. The Onion rings were delicious so were the baked beans. The barbecue pork appears to be hand chopped and the flavor was very good although it was very greasy. The ribs were good but very fatty. I would go again.

there has been some obvious menu item changes. The collard greens and green beans were removed from the menu. The peach cobbler was all cobbler, no peach! The”grilled” half chicken barely looked cooked thru. I brought out of town family from Chicago to experience the “great” foods Shane’s used to offer and we all left disappointed. Please bring back the greens and green beans and grill the meat to completion.

register girl has no sense of urgency. tables were sticky, only one toilet and it was occupied with a waiting line I couldn’t wash my hands, tried the hand sanitizer but it didn’t work, had to rub ice cubes in my hands to wash them. food was good.
