Where to start, first off the bartender, acted like she was busy when we asked her some questions. This was our first time being there, and there were maybe 10 people, us included. Husband ordered a Stella, and I ordered a Bacardi and coke. She got my husband’s drink first, it came in a regular glass it had no foam from the beer, and it had mybe 2 bubbles ( it’s not because it wasn’t in the right glass)

Came here on a Tuesday night while in town for work. Seems to be a local hangout spot that leans more towards a sports bar than a grill. They have a full bar and plenty of beer choices from local and foreign breweries as well as your typical selection. The atmosphere was decent but seemed a little dingy. Plenty of interesting menu options and nightly specials. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and a beef taco (because it was Taco Tuesday) and everything was ok, nothing special but no complaints. The was service was about the same, fairly quick and attentive but not great. If I was to go back I’d probably try one of their burgers. They do have a gaming area with pool tables, dart boards, shuffleboard and video slots. There’s also a fireplace in the middle of the room which is a nice touch.

Great location , Good atmosphere, very roomy, a big bar with a lot of seats, the bar area has many tables and can accommodate a lot of people, A perfect outdoor patio. This is definitely a beer lovers paradise they had a lot of beer options. Cocktails would be typical tavern choices nothing special, no drink or cocktail menu is offered and they lack hard alcohol choices, even though it was 9 PM the bartenders all seemed they were done and ready to go home. At one point a gentleman even hollered is there anybody here working Please Note : there was three bartenders they were all standing on the corner eating popcorn puffs and talking. Over all Id stop again to give them another chance because I enjoy the over all atmosphere. But this shack is riding on a thin line with me and my reviews.

Its a bar that serves food. And that’s not a bad thing. The burgers were very good and very reasonably priced. I did take advantage of their extensive craft beer tap menu. I found a dirty blond ale that was quite tasty. It’s within waling distance of a couple of hotels so it made for a decent overnight stop. I would go back again if in the area.

The bartenders were working the whole restaurant. They are very short of staff. They kept up great, but they shouldn’t have to work the whole place. Food was just ok. To be honest, I am not sure why this place has such a high rating. I don’t think I would go back.

Went here for midday meal while hunting on a Sunday and were not disappointed. I had wings and a grilled ham and cheese and both were good. Awesome service and they even put the game on the TV for me. It’s a little pricey but nothing more than anything else in the area, or any other sports bar.

We’re traveling across country and we stop in Ottawa, IL for the evening (at a newly redecorated Holiday Inn Express – pretty nice) right across the street. We walked over and found a terrific sports bar that’s been here for 22 years. With a rotating draft menu (3 – 5 oz. beers for $4.00). The extensive “bar -food” menu was delicious (not the menu but the BLT with turkey). It was a fun meal with Stacy as our server….thanks…
