I went to Shake Shack when I was in NYC so had to get something while I was close to one, and it was at the airport in Louisiana. I got the smokehouse burger, fries and black and white shake. The burger is a perfect size for me, fries were good and I loved the shake.

I didn’t know what the hype was about. The burger is so plain and salty. Maybe it’s just this location in the airport but it has put me off all Shake Shacks for good. This place also doesn’t accept cash, not very convenient for people pass through the airport.

Ordered a chicken sandwich, refer to the picture. There’s not even a full chicken breast on my sandwich and it’s so over cooked I can’t eat it. Don’t go here, Chick-fil-a is down the concourse.

Not exactly fast food (15 minute wait) Boy was the wait worth it! I ordered the Double Smoke Stack Burger with cheese fries. Their custom burger was better than any big chain and cooked to perfection. The cheese fries were good and they put the cheese in a container on the side. It was more than enough to eat for just under $20.

This location is painful due to their inefficiency. Everyone moves at a very leisurely pace regardless of the line. Fries can be cold because they are usually sitting under the heat lamp and shakes are mediocre because they are premade. Burger is always decent.

Had a basic burger and fries. Service was quicker than I thought it was going to be, based on other reviews. Burger was good and the fries were hot and crispy.

I was nervous because of all the negative reviews, but my love for Shake Shack won, and I’m glad it did. It’s clear from the bad reviews that some people are just delusional and/or impatient when it comes to getting food at the airport. It’s common knowledge that airport versions of restaurants don’t typically have the full menu, and throwing a tantrum on a google review isn’t going to fix it. Despite having a long line, the workers moved quickly and were very calm and friendly. My pregnant belly loved my burger, fries, and lemonade.

Worst shake shack I’ve ever been to, and bottom 3 airport restaurants. Some reviews mention they are understaffed but they were not when I was there. There were ~8 people working but all at a snail’s pace. Except the fry guy who kept 5 under the heat lamp at all times, meaning mine had been sitting for 30 minutes. Every employee that talked to anyone was rude and slow, and even the manager seemed to just not care. Every single order on the screen was in the red.

Food and service can use an upgrade. Cooks watch to see who the order is for, then wait. 30 minutes for our order and it was thrown in the wrapping. Service and atmosphere can not be rated..

The food was delicious. They got in the weeds for a little bit but Jackie, who should be recognized, calmly collected everyone’s tickets (who were waiting for food) and got everything back on track pretty quickly. She did a great job.
