We love Hawaiian plate lunch from Shaka. My husband and I always get the same things: Kalbee Short Ribs and Fried Fish & BBQ Chicken combo. They come out piping hot and fresh all the time. The meats are flavorful and moist all the time and I also like their macaroni salad. We would come more often if we lived closer but maybe it’s a good thing we don’t.. Highly recommend if you’re around The colony/Frisco area near 121 HWY.

Shaka was Great! Definitely one of the best dining experiences for Hawaiian food in DFW. They have a great selection and everything was well seasoned and tender. I had the Loco Moco and it was delicious. And my wife got the Shaka favorite Seafood mix. Everything was excellent. We will be back soon!

The service was a bit slow, but worth the wait. I ordered the aloha plate with grilled chicken breast & teriyaki sauce and my boyfriend ordered the chicken combo plate (BBQ chicken & chicken katsu). The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the rice was cooked perfectly. I do wish that the chicken combo plate came with a better selection of veggies, not just cabbage. Overall, we both agreed the food was delicious! Today was our first visit and we plan to come back!

I’m so glad I decided to try this place. The service was great and the person who helped me was awesome and explained everything amazingly as it was my first time there. The food was soooooo delicious the chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly! I got the chicken plate and substituted in the teriyaki chicken and got a side of ragoons. AND another plus, they have a drive thru!!!!!!!!!

Man talk about an experience. My gmail dined here for the first time tonight and did not disappoint. Their family meal is such a great value, especially the option to get LA short rib for an extra charge. The macaroni salad was really good without being too rich. Will definitely come back again.

Greeted as soon as we entered the building. Super friendly staff. Service was great. Food was flavorful and delicious. Had kalua pork, bbq beef, and macaroni salad . It was the first time we had tried this type of food, and I’m sold on it, it was great! Will have again when in Frisco/Dallas area.

Food is always bomb here! Loved this place ever since I first heard about them a couple years ago. Although, this last time around, the cashier messed up but, I won’t give a one-star because of it. Though, I think it should be known you don’t hand a fork over to the customer and touch the part of the fork where the customer puts their mouth on. Lost a star from me on that part but, other than that, I recommend this place.

Well they just lost a regular. New posted times show they close at 10pm. and it says on THEIR door at 930pm. Showed up at 8; doors are locked and they just stare at me as i’m trying to place an order. I drive 20 min from Mckinney to come here. Hawaiian bros will be earning my business from now on.
