One of the best things going on in OKC right now is all the different flavors that are available to us. We have at least three different spots for Hawaiian food and I am not mad about it. Shaka is located inside the Collective and boast a small, but fun menu. I got the Da Kine Chicken with rice, pineapple, and avocado. The flavor was all there, but I actually wish this was a mixed up dish. The pineapple, avocado, and chicken all mixed together would have made me happier. That being said it is a solid spot for new flavors! Enjoy!

One of many exciting restaurants in Midtown, located in the Collective. I have enjoyed their Hawaiian BBQ Chicken. Yummiest meal so far. Today, I enjoyed their Hawaiian Breakfast. Yum yum.

Definitely lives up to the hype. Their Musubi was better than most I had in Hawaii. Their loco moco is out of this world. Definitely worth a trip. Don’t be distracted by the other restaurants in the Collective. This is THE spot.

Ordered through Door Dash, but wanted to leave a review here! Food was great. Loved the macaroni salad and chicken. Ordered Da Kine Bird. Try here if you want good Hawaiian. It’s Mo betta than Mo Betta lol

I was greeted promptly and I had the Loco Moco. It was very good and there was plenty to eat. If I lived nearby I would make Shaka a regular stop.

I tried three restaurateurs at the collective. I had the barbecue chicken, which looked to be the best thing on the menu. The portions should be bigger: less than half of a cup of rice…..uh HELLO!… its just rice. There was a macaroni salad type of side that wasn’t that great. My boyfriend gave that a thumbs down. I love the concept, lovely Hawaiian dishes, but I would not buy again unless they twerk the menu.
