This place used to be great. While the food is still the same quality, they have continually raised their prices, they give less and less food as well. If you ask for beans they literally give you 12-20 black beans. Onions? A few slivers. Look I understand inflation but what used to be $6.50 for a platter is now $11 and with less food.

Love the Lamb Gyros! We get everything on them, the white sauce is delicious. The combo platters over rice are good too. It’s a tiny eat-in spot, but we do take-away.

Probably the best halal guys food I had, this place makes such delicious chicken over rice. Their white and green sauces are equally complementary. They sell their sauces in individual jars too. The shami kabab was legit as well.

Shahs is my go to when I’m looking for halal food and what makes it amazing is the customer service by Kate! She is very friendly and courteous whenever I visit. 10/10 for customer service by her and the platters are good of course. I just hope the other employees serve customer good like Kate and the management DOESN’T increase the price every couple months.

Shah’s Halal in the Palisades Mall is one of my most favorite food places in all of New York. Kate is so amazing every time I go in and makes sure I have a great experience each and every time. She works so hard and is so sweet and personable. I have told all my friends and family about this place. I’m obsessed!

This restaurant is the best! My server was Kate and I got a chicken platter. She was on point with my order and the food came out fast and well done! Thank you Kate! Definitely coming back next time I’m in the mall.

Overall the food quality is very great. Portions are inconsistent along with prices. Used to be my favorite place for lunch however staff can be rude. I’ve had multiple instances of staff on their phones or getting upset at me for things out of my control.

Horrible food! Ordered a Gyro and the whole pita was stale and kept falling apart. Hummus was dry and pungent from overpowering Tahini in it. Paid over 40 bucks for nothing!
