I wanted to try a new breakfast place and a neighbor recommended trying Shadowland.

It is 21+ so you can’t bring the kids but it does provide some upgraded bar food. The chicken wings are stellar! Recommend the sweet chili if you like a little spice. The staff was also very friendly. I had to wait a little long the food, but it was so tasty I didn’t mind. The fried pickles are also really good and crispy, not too tart. They have good happy hour menu as well.

Bad service. People came after us and were served and finished before we received our food. After 25 minutes we went in and asked for our check. The manager came to us and asked if we needed anything while i was looking around for our waiter. I told her that waiting almost 30 minutes was frustrating. Wait staff always are challenged but not when the restaurant is almost empty.. The waiter didn’t check on our food until we asked almost a half hour later. The manager removed the charges for the food but never came back to us to apologize or explain anything. They put the food in boxes that went to compost when we got home. There are better places in the area to dine.

The food is excellent! Top 5 wings in all Seattle and the brunch is always cooked to perfection and cocktails are crafted with skill. Best breakfast potatoes! I even took my friend’s potatoes home and it was like half a serving but totally worth it.

Late night happy hour was great! Music was a bit too loud, which many us have to talk a lot louder that in a typical bar setting. Great wait staff! Great food!

Stopped in for a salad and a Rainier beer. The pear and walnut salad was delicious and a good portion, and the Rainier beer was crisp and delicious as a local Northwest guy would expect. The service was friendly but not overbearing and added to the easy atmosphere and vibe.

This is my second time here however, my food was better the first time around. I had previously gotten their salmon dish, which was not on their happy hour menu, so yesterday I decided to try their steak frites. It was not great. My steak was well done even though I had requested medium and they gave me very little fries. Our waiter was nice so no problems there. Moving forward, I would order off their regular menu. I also enjoyed the $5 garden salad my fiancé had gotten.

One of the few places open late (past 9p) on Alki. Fit the bill for us to grab some food after a long travel day.

We popped in here while waiting for a reservation up the street.

Been here a few times now after 10pm and have had the late night menu food. Staff is always nice and a great atmosphere. It’s one of the few places still serving food later at night. Highly recommend the steak writes.
