I recently dined at this French restaurant and I must say, it was an incredible experience! Not only was the food delicious and authentically French, but the owner’s passion for Citroen cars was evident in every detail of the restaurant. The atmosphere was unique and exciting, with classic car details everywhere you looked. It was a perfect balance between French cuisine and the love of a famous French car brand. The service was exceptional and the staff were knowledgeable about the food and the cars. Overall, it was a French gateway experience and a perfect mix of old car restoration and fine dining. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

An absolute culinary gem. Amazing vibe (perfect for car lovers!), fantastic staff, and incredible food that I’m still dreaming about. Every aspect of this restaurant, from the attentive staff to the incredible food, showcased a level of dedication that is truly commendable. I cannot emphasize enough how highly I recommend this place. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience!

We’ve eaten at fine restaurants all over the world and we had a truly great meal at Shadow 66!!! The food was artfully prepared with fresh vibrant ingredients and beautifully presented. Creative and flavorful authentic french cuisine with Amazing attentive service…top notch in every way! We are so lucky to have this gem right here in Columbia county. The decor is so cool…. so much heart and soul in this place. Go try it…you won’t regret it!

Very good food! Four of us dined recently, and all agreed to the high quality of the menu. Great cocktails. Super friendly and assistive staff. Unique interior dedicated to the great automotive endeavors of Citroen.

Our dining experience exceeded all expectations, I highly recommend visiting! There aren’t a lot of tables so reservations are a must.

On the plus side, the food is reasonably well prepared French cuisine. However, the space itself is rather off-putting, It’s pretty dark and the owner’s concept of an homage to Michelin and Citroen cars is rather niche. Further the cars are placed right in the center of the main dining room, and consequently, all of the seating is around the perimeter of the room is not comfortable and it’s limited. We requested tap water, and the water was not cold and had a soapy or salty smell and taste to it. Add a bit of French haughtiness in the service, it wasn’t a great experience.

Tonight was my fourth meal at this wonderful french bistro! Authentic “escargots” brimming with garlic, butter and parsley: interesting fresh green salads, lovely soups, plump mussels cooked three different ways, succulent duck, tasty steak and oh my…. Those french fries are crisp and addictive.

Very good menu and quality cocktails. My martini was perfectly cold, and bar tender is very friendly. This place just opened and deserve to be supported. Friendly welcoming and professional service was adding to an outstanding couscous, which was served generously. The beef filet was very tender and the hand cut fries difficult to find a match in the area.

It all starts when you call to make a reservation and the is a friendly Frenchman who is on the recording who recommends that you put your request in and he will return your call…. Sure enough the did (same voice) and charmingly invited us to what seemed to be his home as a vibe!!!

I had a mixed experience at Shadow 66. The food, overall, was quite good flavor-wise, and the quality of ingredients was high. I should say that I cleared every plate. The tomato soup especially had a lot of flavor and a delicate consistency, I enjoyed it. On the other hand, the potato slices in the gratin were somewhat undercooked. The house-made fries were fresh and excellent, but in need of salt – I would have liked to have been brought salt and pepper with the fries by default. Underseasoning certain offerings is certainly a wise choice for the chef to make, especially for something like fries. But when doing that, providing condiments is then necessary. The confit was very satisfying. Then again, I have not had a confit that hasn’t been, even that which comes out of my own kitchen as an amateur. The issue I had there was, for the price point on the menu ($33), I received only a single small-ish leg/partial thigh. Perhaps this is the new reality given the inflationary times that we find ourselves in, but I was still disappointed not to see more duck on my plate than that. I don’t know the economics of the restaurant business, but I know that I would have preferred to pay a few to several more dollars and have had two pieces. The reduction that it was situated in was very tasty.
