Best Shabu I found in Seattle/Bellevue. That A5 beef order is a must try! Melt in my mouth like butter! Soup is so tasty! Best of all, it’s low fat and low sodium! I’m not carrying any burden home after eating! Good for people like me who are on diet. A must try!

Celebrated my friend’s birthday. Server was so nice to give us free ice cream with candle to help us celebrate. Hot pot was very good too.

The most outstanding part of the restaurant is the sesame paste that they offer along with shabu shabu. Majority of the flavour actually came from this.

We had a great lunch here at Shabu shabu Kyoto! We ordered Shabu shabu and sukiyaki and I really enjoyed their original goma dare (sesame dipping sauce). Sukiyaki wasn’t sweet as sukiyaki in Japan, but it was good overall.

the tables are quite close together since the space is small. Not a good place for conversations as sometimes it can be hard to hear. Also probably best for small groups.

This was my first time trying shabu shabu. It was so fresh and the portion is biggg. I had the sukiyaki broth, which was on the sweeter side but it tasted really nice when I put the meat in. The server was so friendly and nice, they even gave me the strainer to take out the scum.

Solid shabu shabu. I haven’t had this in years and this place really hit the spot. Their sesame sauce is house made and soooo good! All the vegetables were super fresh and delicious. They are very generous with the meat as well.

Renee was the most attentive and kind server I’ve ever met. She def made my experience with this restaurant more positive. Sake, which was recommended, had perfect balance between sweet and dry. Chicken Karaage was freshly fried. Our shabushabu was a good portion and my Australian wagyu was soft and fresh. Overall, nice Japanese restaurant to enjoy a night out!

This place is a hidden gem. The food is awesome, filling, perfect for a cold day. Incredible flavors and delicious vegetables. This place feels and tastes more like traditional Japanese cooking. If you are looking for sushi, they don’t have it. If you’re looking for a home-cooked Japanese meal that will bring the warmth and coziness you seek, this is it. I got the sukiyaki with pork loin.

Costumer service is great and bathrooms are clean. However, the food was not it… chicken kara-age is ok, but not the best. I wanted to try their curry and also first time, so I ordered katsu curry. I knew curry can be spicy, but dang, it was too spicy for me.. if you like spicy stuff then maybe it won’t be but for someone that is not used to it, maybe eat something else. Katsu was great, not salty, not greasy, just perfect. Shabu shabu (vegetarian option) was not impressive either, sauces were ok, vegetables were fresh, small amount of noodles, in fact there is more cabbage than noodles.
