Authentic flavors, well-priced. And so glad the indoor dining is back. If you don’t know what to order, just get everything on the front page of their physical menu.

Shaanxi Gourmet is the definition of happiness on a plate for my family. It’s that type of restaurant where if you’ve been before, you have expectations of the dishes u order but each time you go back it’s like trying the dish for the first time it’s sooo good. And if you haven’t been before… the food is soo good it’ll keep you coming back as a regular!!

Pretty good food. Much better than I expected in terms of quality. Service is decent. The only thing is the cost. The lamb skewers are quite pricey compared to what I can get elsewhere. Other places like gene’s flatbread gives you a small discount if you buy a large batch. Overall though, very satisfied with the food. Will need to try the noodle dishes next time.

Take out only sure to pandemic do we choose good that wouldn’t lose their texture. Everything was very well prepared and delicious. The dumplings had a tender thick dough, boiled lettuce with homemade sauce was a hit with kids. The hand pulled noodles were fantastic and we all enjoyed the west lake minced beef tofu soup.

The food is really excellent, the service was friendly and the variety on the menu is fantastic! I loved the pan cooked Chinese pita, and the liangpi is so good with the gluten chunks in it! We got the lamb soup and it was so flavourful, went perfectly with the pita. Lamb skewers are best when hot, don’t wait to eat them. Unfortunately there was a string in my food that I had to remove after some confused chewing but the staff were quite apologetic about it and offered to make the dish again.

We ordered the spicy crayfish! They give you gloves to eat it so that your hands won’t get all spiced up. It’s pretty good and located conveniently off Rte 9. Portion size overall could be slightly larger but all dishes are pretty flavorful.

WOW. I’ve driven past this place a million times without giving a second thought. The hand-pulled noodles are as good as any place in Chinatown (Gene’a Flatbread being the benchmark) and the crispy dumplings were outrageous. Tangy sour dipping sauce and baby bok choy. Very, very good. Will definitely be back. The food did well as takeout.
