This was a stop on the land portion of a cruise. It was a simple meal of sandwiches and two cold salads. The quality of the food and taste was really good. You just went through the line and added whatever meat and cheese you wanted to your sandwich. There were several buses there and it was a easy and quick way to feed and move a lot of people. The views from the outdoor patio where spectacular.

We recently got married in Palmer, AK and had our wedding dinner at Settler’s Bay. They gave us a private room with outstanding views of the surrounding mountains. The food was exceptional and the service could not have been better. The events team was very communicative and responsive throughout the entire booking process. They even gave us commemorative wine glasses to take home as a gift. They exceeded our expectations and assisted in making our wedding night one to remember. Thank you!

This place was something I heard about prior to moving to Alaska. Just so happens to be across the street from hime so gave it a try. Very nice ambiance and amazing mountain views. My husband & I both had burgers which were ok, i was hoping for a burst of flavor but it lacked in that department. For something so easy, it took them 45 minutes to get our meal out. I’ll blame it on not enough staff maybe but please don’t go easy on the seasoning next time. We will probably try again one day and hope for better flavor.

First the lodge is absolutely stunning, views are tremendous and setting is very nice. We started with the steak bits appetizer which was the highlight of our meal. Bits were very tender, cooked to perfection and absolutely will order again. My nephew ordered the rib eye medium rare, comes out medium at best, was very thin but overall good. Not worst he has had and would order again. I got the New York Strip, ordered medium and came out rare. It was not the finest cut of meat, a huge piece of gristle ran thru half my steak, the ends were very tough…the middle did get better but I have definitely had a better New York. Overall, I will ve back. My server was excellent. Drink refills. Updates on food and checked back regularly.
