Really great space to hang out. the cafe has tasty pastries and espressos drinks. The bar opens at 11am. Plenty of seating on the main floor and extra seating on the second floor. Clean restrooms. Good wifi. The only critique is I would like smaller espresso drink sizes. They could have been limited to to-go cups for the moment due to covid.

My first time here, just had a very good cup of coffee. I ordered egg salad but wasn’t counting on the chef being some kind of magician that would make me the best egg salad ever. PLUS the tunes playing on legit vinyl is especially curated and sounds . If you’re from out of town you can still come here, but please be on your best behavior, do not ruin this for me.

First of all, this is my favorite place on earth. The Ginger Soda will simultaneously heal your stomach and blow your mind, but the coffee is also perfectly crafted, as are the adult beverages. The absolute best sandwiches and pastries stemming from deep within your subconscious dreams. Session is staffed by extremely kind, talented, helpful, wonderful humans that are always a joy with whom you get to interact. An inclusive menu for the vegan/gluten free folk and the most spacious, relaxing, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere you could ask for (also great outdoor seating.) Being able to watch the record press in process with sandwich and ginger soda in hand is always an added bonus. If you want a souvenir or gift, Citizen Vinyl has a great music selection as well as great art/zines from local makers/artists. Every trip I take to Asheville, Session is top of the list.

The setting here is truly unique and one of the best in Asheville, incredibly spacious, and the decor is modern and comforting. some of the best coffee and pastries in town. the baristas and bartenders are super nice and helpful when it comes to deciding your drink. i would recommend this place to literally everyone. one of asheville’s hidden gems at the moment
