We ordered a lot of food! Carrot salad, smoked salmon was awesome. I loved the duck entree with corn pudding and tile fish dish. My least favorite was the pastas. E ordered the Basil pesto pasta and bolognese pasta. I want a big fan. Couldn’t taste the goat cheese in basil pasta. Bail was over powering and in bolognese pasta the ricotta was on top and pasta was too salty. If a little cream was added it would have tasted much better. Smoked salmon was awesome, but same issue, there was no need for extra salt on top. I was excited for bread but it too chewy and burnt.

Sergeantsville Inn is a special place—I’ve been twice with friends and family. Our last visit in the spring was great. We did a wine tasting with Celine at the Ice House, followed by dinner in the restaurant. The servers and sommelier were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the food & wine were superb. We enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar afterwards. The restaurant and bar were both pretty busy for a Sunday night. Very impressed with our experience.

This place is gorgeous specially from the inside! We went to a woman’s Club dinner event and we all loved the atmosphere, the private area that they provided for our group of 15 people. The food was excellent, unique and fresh. The service was great, very attentive and paying attention of what we needed before we asked. The owner came to our table several times to make sure everyone was happy with everything, he was very nice and patient.

Dinner for four on a Tuesday evening, tavern was busy but restaurant rooms were relatively quiet. We ate in the restaurant, service was very good, appetizers and entrees equally delicious. There was an issue with one entree, that should not have happened, but the manager voluntarily removed that entree from our bill which was the right thing to do and was appreciated. Sorry, was busy eating and forgot to take pictures!

The restaurant reopened mid July of 2022 and the service continues being great. They are very attentive and quick at serving. The food was delicious. The stake, hamburger, and rigatoni pasta are my top options. They have prosecco on tab and domestic and international beers and hard cider.

Have been lucky to visit the Sergeantsville Inn a couple of times now, and I was throughly impressed both times. The atmosphere is wonderful in the historic structure with its old world charm front and center. Exec chef and owner REALLY knows what he is doing sourcing locally raised meats (butchering on site), and locally grown produce. The menu changes seasonally so I know there will always be something new and different to look forward to. I appreciate that he artfully put a menu together showcasing the best of this local fare! Portions were generous, and I left feeling plenty full. The wine and cocktail menu is FANTASTIC! Our server was super friendly and appropriately attentive. It’s a great team of wonderful, talented and friendly folks out at Sergeantsville Inn. If you haven’t gone yet- give it a try!
