We went there yesterday after we had some happy hour from another place. It’s my friends late bday celebration and decided to get the main here but sadly the hostess which supposed to be the image of the restaurant is not very friendly. So we were kinda disappointed already. She’s not even smiling and observed her after we were seated. thought she don’t like us but she did the same to other customers as well. She didn’t even seat us just pointed out the table also she did the same with other customers as well. So maybe you could teach her how to do the job well. Our server was very attentive tho. Thank God. And the food was okay and the drink was okay too. My favorite is the octopus from the entree the green sauce compliments the taste of the octopus really well and the corn is a plus.

The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxed. Love the ambiance. The food we had was also very good. My only slight con was the churros, they were just a little too hard for my tastes. But everything else was great.

Really nice ambience and atmosphere on a rooftop – perfect for brunch, looking forward to coming back at night. Only recommendation for mgmt is to turn down the music a bit. The food is very tasty, large plates of Mexican cuisine. The seats are super comfortable and everything is nice and big so you don’t feel cramped.

Serena is amazing! Got to enjoy brunch and everything was delicious. Manager Carlos came over to wish my friend a happy Birthday. Server explained the entire concept and creative behind the menu which was really interesting. Serena Margaritas were so so good. One of the best i’ve had. Can’t wait to go back.

I was in Miami for my birthday and after research, decided to go to Serena for my birthday dinner as a solo diner. The restaurant is beautiful, great music and atmosphere but sadly the service let me down. Ordered oysters and asked for a teaspoon for the sauces (twice), this arrived 15 mins later after which most of the ice from the oysters had melted and started spilling on the table. I was sat without a drink to go with the oysters for another 10 mins. After I ate the oysters, I wanted to order a main, no service for 30 mins after which I decided to leave – really disappointing on my birthday. I felt ignored for most of the evening. The server did offer to give me a free dessert after I complained but I didn’t want to waste any more time there. The service was reactive instead of proactive, and to rub salt in the wound, they add 20% service charge and when you pay the bill, they ask if you want to tip an additional amount! Such a shame as this place is really pretty and the entertainment is great!

the rooftop is beautiful, the ambiance, especially around sunset time is lovely. there are only fans in very specific areas, making the miami summer humidity unbearable — i had to fan myself with the menu the entire evening. the hostesses were very unprofessional, didn’t greet us, took the name of the reservation and just stared at her screen without acknowledgement. their outfits were also very unprofessional and provocative, made me feel like i was in a nightclub not a dining setting.

Serena Rooftop is an amazing restaurant in Miami. I highly recommend trying their delicious and refreshing piña colada. The tuna tartare is another must-try dish with amazing flavors. Antonio, our server, provided excellent service, and the manager was attentive. It’s a great place for weekends, especially with Miami’s heat. Don’t miss out on the stunning view from the terrace. A must-visit spot in the city!

A great place to grab some food and drinks with your coworkers and friends. The waiting staff is super friendly and are always checking in on you. We got a lot of food and everything was delicious. Highly recommend some of their cocktails because the drinks were worth it. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area and looking for a fun evening!
