Seoulju is a nice spot for meeting friends and trying Korean comfort food. We ordered the Corn Cheese, Beef Bulgogi, and Fried Chicken Thigh Nuggets. I particularly enjoyed the way they served the cheese in a pan, which kept the corn hot for a long period of time. It was a good appetizer and paired well with their fried chicken. The chicken itself was crispy and perfectly coated with sauce and sesame. Overall, the food quality was good, although nothing extraordinary.

I LOVE this place so much. After eating Korean food for 20 + years I’m glad to have this place in Austin. They definitely have the best KFC hands down in addition to several classics and innovative dishes. I’m pleasantly surprised with how good the kimchi and seafood pajeon taste. It’s a family owned restaurant and you can feel the warm hospitality come through. Great place to bring friends and enjoy some soju and amazing Korean food variety.

Food was hot and tasty. We ordered the Thigh Nuggets, Kimmari, Spicy Rice Cakes, and the “Whole Bird.” The whole bird was definitely my favorite. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Was pretty busy on a Friday night.

Severs were very friendly and attentive. Very welcoming atmosphere. They have karaoke here as well. May come back and reserve with them to try it out.

I’ve been coming to Seoulju for yearsssss! Way before it was even renamed Seoulju. The food here is authentic and phenomenal. I’ve tried mostly everything from the fried chicken to the house made soju. This is the place to come with friends late at night to hang out and listen to K-pop in the background. They use the toast app for orders which I really appreciate as an introvert and it’s just so easy to keep checks separate. Plus the owner John, when he is there, is so personable and kind. The whole staff is nice and helpful. One of the best Korean restaurants in Austin hands down!

If you’re looking for delicious Korean food, you have to visit Seoulju. The service here is amazing, especially Paul, he treated us like family and gave us great recommendations! The kimchi pancake is delicious and the corn + nuggets combo just switches up the food game in an amazing way! Every drink is beautifully made, but I always try to get a house recommendation for the best flavors.

John, the owner, was so incredible from the start. He welcomed a 7 group party at 10:45 with open arms and gave us a lovely introduction. The environment was so friendly including meeting the owners little brother and other amazing staff. We were so well accommodated with the high quality service. The food came out so great and even included so delicious bonus items! The music was great, facility was clean, and our plates were empty! We simply didn’t want to leave the restaurant after the delicious military hot pot!

When you first get there, don’t be put off by the area. It’s in a shopping mall that looks like it’s seen better days, and the entrance to the restaurant could use some updating. You’ll need to join the Waitlist on Yelp before you’re seated. Each table has a QR code you can scan to order and pay for your food. We did not have to wait long for our food. Inside, the walls are painted black with chalk drawings and words and phrases. There are TVs playing K-Pop music videos (a standard for most places of this nature).

Great food in a good atmosphere. The owner John was exceedingly friendly and engaging, and he made a point of keeping his kitchen open late for me when I came in off of a late flight. Will absolutely come back every time I’m in Austin.

It’s my second time here, and it’s just a stable to bring your friends. It has a great atmosphere and drinks. Most of their food are meant to be shared. I love their service especially Paul! I always recommend corn cheese, dumplings, the chicken nuggets, and the octopus and pork. I add noodles to the octopus and pork dishes. My favorite dish here. The chicken nuggets comes with many different flavor options, so you can choose. The portion is a bit small on that one though. They get pack super quick, so it is best to join the waitlist ahead of time. There is an automatic 20% gratuity. It’s on the QR code when you scan to order if you decide to use it. They also have the normal bell to ring if you want the waiter to come and get your order.
