Came into town for a short trip and as we wandered around we came across this little gem. The service was great our waiter was super friendly! Food portions are big but I’m Canadian I’m used to smaller portion sizes. I ordered the Hawaiian fajitas. They were great I only wish they had come with more tortillas.

Absolutely loved my first visit here! We did the queso appetizer which was so massive you could share it easily with at least 4 people. We also did the Senor Lopez margaritas which were fabulous. Each one comes with its own refill in a shaker so you’re really getting 2 margs in one. Nate our server was a highlight! He had great recommendations, checked in on us frequently, and was really fun to chat with. He was such a gentleman and poured my refills for me at every opportunity. I ordered the molcahete for my entrée and WOW. What a stunner. Absolutely delicious flavor and the presentation was very impressive. We sat outside which is right on the street so if you don’t like noise and wind I’d try inside. But we love people watching and don’t mind the breeze so we loved it. Really can’t recommend this place enough! I’ve always felt that bellingham struggles with good Mexican food, this is definitely my new front runner I’m so mad it took me so long to try it so learn from my mistakes!

Señor Lopez restaurant is a nice looking place with Mexican decor and friendly and quick moving staff. This restaurant was highly recommended by somebody so we were eager to try it.

I have eaten here and just did a huge take out meal for 13 guests for a graduation party. Erica helped me plan the menu for the party 2 days ahead of time. It was ready on time for pick up and boxed up securely for my husband to transport to our home. Every guest raved about the “taco bar” and tamales that we served. They even provided high quality paper plates that we used and it was perfect! Forgot to take photos of the meal but it was laid on the counter and beautiful! Sometimes when you do a big take out meal the food isn’t that good. It was easy, tasty, and memorable. They included these little flag toothpicks of America & Mexico that the guests went crazy for. Also, I did over order so we have some great leftovers!

Staff was very friendly and provided great service. Food was delicious and the portion was generous. Price was very reasonable for my opinion. Highly recommend this place if someone is craving for some mexican food!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We were recommended this Mexican eatery and definitely understand why. We ordered a Molcajete to share and it was more than enough to split between two people. We will definitely be coming back here!!
