Went to Senor Burro for the first time while visiting La Mesa, and I cannot wait to go back! I got the Senor Burro, which was HUGE but my son’s burrito stile the show. He got the El Cali Mex (steak) and WOW! So much flavor and spice! Best burrito, by far!

Senor Burros is awesome. Great prices, flavor, portions, and daily specials. Staff is always friendly. And the sauces are really good
No one You Know
Shrimp burrito was excellent. Morning burrito with added Chipotle sauce very good. Food was hot and didn’t need anything else. Salt and pepper, and silverware at the counter if you need it. Great place to dine in. Daily Specials on the door. Friendly staff and great prices! I come here at least twice a month. The bean and rice burrito is an excellent deal and they always have daily specials.

I followed another reviewer’s recommendation and tried the shrimp burrito with the special white sauce and holy wow, it was freaking amazing. Service was phenomenal and prices were fair. My burrito was huge but I ate the whole thing. It was too good to stop. I cannot wait to come back!

The fish tacos were so good. They were only a few dollars and they were loaded with stuff. My boyfriend got a bean and cheese burrito and literally for both of our meals were under $9. Totally worth it! Plus I waited in the car and it was literally like 5 minutes and the food was ready.

We do takeout couple or three times a month. Live about 2 miles away. WOW! Fresh, fast and friendly. Nicely prepared and handled well. Clean and easy. Recommend.

The woman there was very robot like & had no feelings. I also felt rushed to order & get out even though it was a to go order. I feel that the woman doesn’t like working there. I ordered some fish tacos & they were overly breaded & not enough fish.

My family all enjoyed their meals and I think they will be back. I live in Missouri and I wouldn’t mind returning on my next visit next year. I liked the little fish tacos and I would order 3-4 next time.

This place is good, clean and has a huge unique menu with good prices on most items, I will never pay $10 for a burrito though… Some staff are friendlier than others (I just think most of them are shy )… But I have to leave a balanced review.. so here it is… I’ve added some photos as well.
