We chose Selva for our anniversary dinner and were happy we did. Extensive wine list. Cocktails were great, and the appetizers were fantastic. Both our skirt steak and paella entrees done perfectly. All staff were friendly and welcoming, making a special effort to recognize our anniversary. Our waiter Frank was excellent- attentive without being intrusive. All in all one of our very best dining experiences in Sarasota.

Very good food but not quite up to the hype. The service was impeccable. A shout out to Michelle for her professionalism and outstanding depth of knowledge of the menu items and ingredients. The scallops with the sweet potato purée and the crab cake were my favorites and the Ahi dishes were very good. The Caesar was a bit unusual. The plate presentation was a highlight but ultimately the flavors didn’t match up to the visual experience.

The food and atmosphere are incredible. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean, well designed and overall in a beautiful location. The inside dining room is chic and the staff are quick, attentive and focused on accuracy and customer enjoyment. The food is phenomenal and is a little pricey but worth every penny! We went for lunch and it was fantastic! Visit them for a special occasion and you won’t regret it!

OMG, you can always expect a great special on the menu. Tonight, the shrimp bisque was over and above a major treat. I told the GM that this soup is quintessential Selva and should be a part of the regular menu. The flavors are signature! Oh by the way, the bartenders make the best drinks!! I absolutely recommend you try this place. Fantastic atmosphere and excellent food offerings. You will not be disappointed.

We tried the wahoo ceviche and it was awesome!! The lamb was so good and the steak with the chimchurri sauce wow!! Banana desert was very good I never had banana flan and I loved it! The chocolate mousse was so good my favorite was the white chocolate. The atmosphere is very romantic inside and very casual outside. Had a really nice time and no wait to be seated. Enjoy!
