One of the best meals I’ve had in Boston. Creative dishes, super fresh seafood, and expert execution. Make reservations and go out of your way to check it out, Select is worth it

Highly recommend you come here. Fresh and delicious seafood! The Spanish Octopus was so good, we had to order it twice!

This cute upscale restaurant gets very busy very quickly after 5 o’clock, so I would recommend making reservations even if you are a small party.

Incredible experience! The food was excellent, especially the oysters and mussels. Amazing cocktails. The ambiance was noisy but fun. Sat right in front by the windows at a long table which we shared with another party – worked out great for two larger parties. The service was absolutely impeccable! Our server and her assistants were completely on top of everything the entire time. Would absolutely recommend! Be sure to make a reservation!

Beautiful oysters fresh from local areas bring true compliment to the seafood dishes offered. We sampled several dishes and each was well balanced and beautifully presented. The small dinning space is comfortable and extremely clean. Overall our waiter was knowledgeable and engaging. Would highly recommend – but note it’s rather easy to spend over $100 a person.

Food is fresh and delicious, but overpriced for the amount of food that you’re actually getting. Totally understand that seafood is expensive, but it’s frustrating to spend nearly $100pp and still not be entirely full after the meal.

Our first dinner in Boston and our friends took us to this place. Nice and cool neighbourhood. It was rainy but the business’s still very good. Luckily we booked the table and we can step in and start immediately. The service is good enough. I guess it’s busy and also it might be the local people’s way to communicate. It’s different. The menu is good. Many choices and you really can find the good thing if you are a seafood fan. We had the oyster plate to share. We chose two kinds of oysters to compare and it’s quite interesting to go though the experience to compare them at the same time. Different texture, sweetness, saltiness and also freshness. The main courses were very good too. The only reason I gave 4star for is the price. We know the local Priceline is higher but this place is definitely a little more pricy. Anyway, good experience and nice night with friends. Will go back to Boston again.

We had a delicious dinner at Select Oyster Bar on a Thursday. We shared one of their seafood platters and then two of their main fish dishes. Everything was super fresh, well-seasoned and beautifully presented.
