Just went there last year for the first time and my family fell in love!! The food was literally delicious they had the best pulled chicken tacos ever! Personally I got the two soft shell tacos, and the rice was so good as well as the fresh tortilla! One of my favorite Mexican restaurants ever. They have amazing drinks as well. It is quite small and it’s usually PACKED when I go there, it’s by the lake so we always eat and the walk by the beach. Great service the people are so nice and welcoming, definitely recommend!!

I will not be returning. Way overpriced for the quality and quantity of food. You do not get complimentary chips and salsa and the amount of salsa you get is in a tiny disposable container. The rice was crunchy. How are you going to charge so much for your food and have crunchy rice? I am not someone who usually complains about the cost of food at a restaurant, but this place should be embarrassed for how much they are charging for the food they put out. I’m sorry to put out such a negative review, but I don’t want other people to waste a nice day/night out here.

Our server was great. However, this was our 1st visit, and we didn’t realize you had salsa & chips before we gave her our main meal order. So, our meals were delivered and we had to remind our server to bring the chips & salsa. She apologized, and overall, she did a good job, especially with the crowd that size. Well be back …maybe for lunch.

Right on the lake and great food. Bit pricey but we never have a bad experience. Introduced me to the coronarita which I’m forever grateful. Owners always remember us and comment how they remember our kids being babies when we first started coming. Steadily in our top 5 of ‘where should we eat.’

Me and my wife wanted to dine at a sunset / lake facing restaurant and tried this place. It has a good location but were disappointed with the food, margarita we ordered. It is a small place with limited seating and we ordered genuine lime margarita, nachos to begin with. We were told they only serve pinto beans and not black beans (which is a first one I heard for a Mexican joint). We placed the order and after 5 mins requested a change to chips, salsa, guacamole as pinto beans are typically cooked in beef broth which we avoid. The server was kind to make the change. The margarita (costed $13) was nowhere close to a typical Mexican margarita and this was served in plastic cup. The chips were not very crispy, fresh and the guacamole tasted as if it was made for some time and kept. The color was pale green and not the avocado shade of green. This happens when guacamole is made and kept for sometime (it begins to oxidize – it is not harmful but tastes less fresh). Food experience was bad, location is nice and the server was kind. 1 margarita and 1 chips, salsa, guacamole costed us $25. Will not come here again.
