This place is so good. It’s like if casual dining met fine Japanese food in a small plates style eating at a reasonable price. Ordered roughly 13 items, couple hot sakes and the bill came in under $150. I would highly recommend this place to foodies looking to try something new or people who love some ethnic comfort food in a funky place. The customer service is super friendly and attentive. The decor is awesome with a bunch of anime posters, Super Mario inspired elements and just as overall casual vibe to it. This was an instant favorite.

Kinda cool how the business has 3 different sections to it: ramen, ice cream & now yakitori.

Very cool experience. Inside has cool Japanese pop culture posters and figurines and magical vibes. Order as you eat and every dish was something brand new. *burp!*

Place is really cool, has Japanese toys and figurines as decor and a wall collage of 70’s and 80’s anime, advertisements, and movie posters. The food is yummy and very reminiscent of the izakayas in Tokyo. The staff are a little short-handed, but, they do their best to be attentive. Food takes a little time especially the skewers. And I was a little surprised to be cut off at 8, guessing it was going to take too long. It didn’t take away from the overall experience though. I would definitely recommend ordering more than what you think you’re going to be able to eat, upfront.

Finally got to try this place. Highly recommend getting a reservation because of how small and popular this spot is. This spot is one of the best yakitori spots I’ve been too. The best ones were the BBQ Eel and the Dango. Nice well lit restaurant with amazing food.

Restaurant was inspired by the owner’s childhood growing up in Japan. Citypop, anime, and Mario!

Overall the food is fine and the service is good. However the wait time is around 80 mins (we arrived around 17:45 and got a table at 19:10). Also there is a limited number of Skewer you can order per round regardless of the table size.

Décor and atmosphere is fun, upbeat and excellent for happy hour or after a busy day at work. We tried half of the grills and half of them are good while half of the food has room to improve. Eel is great but little pricy with the portion served. Service is a little rushy, the 2nd sake we ordered came way after the food dishes.
