Four of us went & each had delicious entrees! Tasty salads & bread too. The problem was how backed up the waiter was although it appeared he had many tables. Might be lack of help? The food is delicious. Recommend it for that reason but after 2 hours we were clearly ready to leave! Parking was an issue too. They did take reservations.

Phenomenal! Ignore the terrible reviews and go here (ask for Taylor for a guarantee of great service). My husband and I were vacationing in Cape May and looking for a great date night spot, Secondo’s menu enticed us immediately and we booked a reservation. Shortly after reserving, I started looking at reviews and came across multiple HORRIBLE reviews..we went back and forth on whether to cancel our reservation and I’m so glad we decided to keep it and go for dinner! We had an 8:15 reservation but decided to stop in around 7:45 to grab a cocktail and the beautifully appointed outdoor bar. We each had a delicious cocktail, fig cocktail for my hubby and a strawberry margarita for myself. Right on the dot at 8:15 we were seated at an adorable outdoor table..perfect ambience! Great live music also! Our server Taylor was phenomenal. We had the antipasto platter as an appetizer which was sizable and would be great for a family of 4. My husband ordered the lamb chops for his entree and I had the cavatappi with grilled shrimp. Both were amazing! Well done Secondo! We will most certain be retuning.

Don’t go here if you want something to eat, you won’t get it for hours. My wife made reservations a week in advance for 8:15, when we arrived we were told they were a little behind and it would be approx 20-25 minutes longer. We were finally seated at 8::45 at a two person table outside that had been empty since we arrived. After being seated for 20 minutes without so much as a whisper from anyone or receiving even water we decided to get up and leave now at 9:05pm. We walked out of the outside dining around front towards the parking lot and my wife went back inside to use the ladies room and to tell the hostess we were leaving after being seated late and ignored for an additional 20 minutes. The hostess didn’t even blink much less an apology.

First: MAKE A RESERVATION if you want to eat in the dining area. They do not allow walk ins, even IF the reservation app says there are reservations available. The pretentious gentleman host alerted us that even through the app had reservations available at 5, 5:15. 5:30, and 5:45, there were no walk ins allowed and there were “no available reservations”. We were just about to walk out when he casually said “you can try sitting at the bar – they have a full dinner menu there.”

So so disappointed! I made a reservation here a week in advance for a special occasion and requested outside for 8pm. I wasn’t seated until 8:40pm. The bar only had one bartender and one service bartender. We waited for 15 minutes and neither of them acknowledged us or even told us that they would be with us shortly. Bartender expressed they needed more help. The music in the bar was awful. The guy couldn’t hold a note. Then we finally sat down and our guests ordered two things that they didn’t have. One was a Sangria. The waiter said “ We don’t have Sangria.” My friend said “ it’s on the menu.” Waiter said that they didn’t make it! Then, her spouse ordered veal. Waiter said, we are out of Veal! So disappointing and embarrassing! Now, he had to hurry and pick out another item. The waiter should have told us they were out of veal when he sat us down!! He told us all the specials, so he should have told us when he shared the specials. We asked the waiter if he ever tasted the soup? He said yes, 2 weeks ago. Was it think or thin? He says “ in between. I asked if it had sherry? He said… I think so. We all said we don’t think he had it! Then, there were at least 25 lightbulbs that were burned out For the outdoor lighting. It surely wasn’t the upscale restaurant that I loved last year. I did not ask for the manager because I was so embarrassed in front of my guests and didn’t want to make a scene. The cops pulling up quickly and dealing with an issue was the icing on the cake.

Secondo Panicos is U Do It approved! Mrs U Do It and I celebrated our 25th anniversary here and it was wonderful! We arrived for our resetvation 15 minutes early and we had drinks at the bar while we waited for them to open for dining. Our waitress was super friendly. We had calamari and fried mozzerella for the first course. We love it here!

It’s true what they say; you can’t eat atmosphere. Went there for Fathers Day and a 70th birthday celebration. What a disappointment. Food was below average. Appetizers and entrees were bland. I ordered lamb chops, $43, and they were tasteless as was my sons crab dish. My husband had salmon and he said he makes better and he couldn’t taste garlic in the garlic mashed potatoes. I sent my dish back and it was taken off the check. Unbeknown to me the owner was seated with his family across from us. He apparently saw the disappointment on my face. He approached our table, apologized profusely and took care of our check. That was very nice of him and honestly the right thing to do. He asked us to please come back again. I just smiled and thanked him again. We will not return. Ya can’t eat atmosphere….0h, and our server, although good, was more interested in a table of 10 than the three of us.

The food was delicious. For the appetizer we had crab balls followed by our dinners which included pizzas for the girls, Maui Maui for me covered in crab meat and a chicken Parm for my buddy. The music was so loud that you couldn’t hear yourself chew much less have a conversation with anybody including the waiter who by the way was very efficient but somewhat difficult to understand as he was new to our a great land. Perhaps if the speakers weren’t turned up so loud On the gent playing the keyboard outside.

Hostess and “owner” ruined night… rude!!!! Seated us very late and “owner” tried to argue about minutes… our reservation was at 8:45 seated at 9:10 “owner” tried to argue it was 7 minutes not their fault we came early….we complained seated almost 30 minutes late all they could do is argue and do incorrect math .. horrible customer service…just say sorry! Don’t argue with customers!! Other guests complained about hostess with blonde hair in blue dress then pregnant “owner” I use this term looslely in a hoodie very unprofessional… Such a shame they ruined what could have been a lovely evening. Oysters were swimming in water because sat out so long ice melted… sent them back. Pork chops were amazing. Could not do a proper review when witches are guarding the door. Sent salmon back unimpressed. I hate to give them a bad review, but had a very bad experience. Would not come back.
